In august. DH just got into MBA school
He turned down Duke last year because we got this opportunity to live in London, but the timing is right to head back after a year. I'd love to stay longer, but it makes the most sense for us.
We're going to ND because they have a great masters in not for profit admin. The classes from august to may are at night, then the summer classes are during the day. Its perfect for a teacher
So next year I'll just teach. The year after, hopefully I'll be working on my masters as well (mine is one year, his is two).
I actually like a lot of things about South bend, so I'm excited. I am NOT looking forward to the culture shock of moving from London to SB though.
Re: We're moving to Indiana
Very exciting! Congrats to your DH!
my read shelf:
Oh, fun news! Make sure to enjoy London as much as you can while you're still there, but I'm sure you'll enjoy coming back to the states.
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
Congrats! Please eat many meals at Fiddler's Hearth for me and report back. Also, please kick some serious Charlie Weis butt for me.
And if you feel so compelled, pop into the new law school building and tell me that the current students are benefiting from the suffering I endured in the craptastic old building!
omg, we SO have to gtg when I visit the inlaws!
Where do you think you'll teach? I hear the public schools there are scary (though I'm sure you're used to that after b-more).
Oh man, if you could snag me some tickets in the grad student section, I'll be your Internet BFF!
Awesome! We try to make to SB once a yr for a ND football game.
Ditto on seats in the student section - hook a girl up!
