PW-Ideas to keep toddler busy?

So DD is just over a year old and she is getting bored with our daily activities and her everyday toys. I am looking forward to the weather getting nice so we can go outside but Spring around here just means lots and lots of rain!
I am having trouble coming up with age appropriate activities to entertain her. I worked in daycare and with toddlers but I worked with the older toddlers so many of the activities I am familiar with are a little too advanced. We dump Lego s out and then pick them back up, we read, we finger paint, we just got no mess color wonder markers so she colored today. She also helps me around the house.
Any other ideas?
