Another update

I posted this on my BMB.. but just incase you guys were interested, here's my update from today's ultrasound!

My appt was schedule for 11. I arrive at 10:45. Don't get called back until 11:45, and didn't see the dr til 12:45. I have no idea what was going on. I left my appt at 1:15.

I was already having a rough day, I was so afraid with that, plus the looong wait, it was going to be bad news.

But - Baby A had a growth spurt! It's measuring 2 days ahead. Heart rate at 165! She even pointed out it's little arm buds & said it was wiggling around!

Baby B, is shockingly still hanging in there! However, it's measuring a week behind it's twin, at 7w2d. The heart rate is 114, up from 59 last week. The doctor was shocked... she said it's trying to tell us, don't bet against me! However, she said there's still a good chance it won't make it, but it's fighting!

I'm having weekly ultrasounds with her, and she said I probably would for a while. But she had me cancel my appt with her next week & is having me go see a high risk doctor for a better ultrasound - to check if they are conjoined. She said they are either conjoined, or just so close that they are touching. I'm hoping they just want to cuddle with each other.

My hematoma isn't growing, so that's good news! But they are still keeping an eye on it.

So just still taking it week to week. I'm really hoping that I'll be able to get a definite answer (and a good answer) from the MFM next week. That would take one of the weights off my shoulders.
