DTAP or Tdap vaccine for preggos
Thought I'd pass along this nugget. My OB informed me last week that new research has shown to get this vaccine during each pregnancy, especially if you don't plan on breast feeding. The same principal applies that the immunities get passed from mother to babe. The OB said if you plan on nursing it's not as important, but if you know you're not that it can really help. Just called to schedule mine, since I don't think littles get the vaccine till 4 months and pertussis is no joke.

I think you're not supposed to get it until the third trimester. I'm overdue for mine anyway and wanted to get it earlier but I believe I remember being told to wait. I'll have to remember to ask about that again!
