What do you do (SIL/S problems)

Does anyone have a situation like this? I really don't know what I am supposed to do...

Sorry I had to edit the post and remove it from the line up. I'm just not comfortable enough having it up for a long period of time.

The things said were harsh, uncalled for, and cruel. I have addressed my S about it and she is going to sit down to H and talk it over.

  • I would recommended asking your sister to apologize to DH so that they can move forward in their relationship. If she apologizes and he sincerely accepts, then they should be able to move into a better place.
  • I am definitely going to have a talk with my sister and tell her she needs to apologize. This is on my To Do List today.

  • I would like to hear more background before I offer my advice.  what did she say to him?  what was the context/setting?  what was he doing?
  • Definatly ask her to apologize, people say mean and hurtful things all the time, but an apology is important. She may be stubborn but in the end itll all come together if she can let it go and say she is truly sorry.
  • I'd talk to H first.  Your H needs to be your first priority, not your sister or your nephew.

I'd ask your H if there's anything your sister could do to change the way he feels about her.  Would it make any difference to him if she apol
