I'm going to brag that I made it out of this week alive. Between my sick BIL, work insanity and H working double shifts, it has been a bear of a week.
This weekend, my parents were supposed to make the trip to visit us from MI to VA, but with my BIL still in the ICU, they are staying home to help my sister with the kids. So, our weekend is suddenly very free. We have a baptism party to go to after church on Sunday, but that is the only thing on the agenda. I may never get out of pajamas tomorrow...

I have nothing to brag about.
DH may go to the casino tomorrow to play poker. I need to start deciding what to put on my baby registry, so I'll probably work on that today and this weekend. I also want to work on the cross stitch birth announcement I'm making for the baby. I've only got about 4 months until he gets here, and I'd like to have it done not too long after he arrives! Also, DH and I have been slacking on ordering the prints that come with our wedding photography package. I really want to do that this weekend too.

Nothing to brag about either! Well, I guess filling 4 yard waste bags full of weeds and gross plants from my gardens counts as a good thing! The gardens were covered with this ground cover plant that spread everywhere and had deep roots!
This weekend we are probably doing more yard work, which we both enjoy.
I've got nothing to brag about either. This week was sucky.
I did read a lot yesterday while DH watched the NFL draft. Then we stayed up late finishing up Spartacus. We only had 2 more episodes to season 3, I'm sad we don't have anymore to watch. That whole cast is smoking HOT!!! I read on the actual history of the real Spartacus, and they did a good job staying close to historical fact.
This weekend DH has a softball tournament. I'll probably go for one day of it. It is supposed to be in the 70s to 80s this weekend!! Crazy that we got 7" of snow on Tuesday. The weather is nuts around here! I'll probably spend the other day of the weekend doing some yard work, and plant some flowers. I'm so excited for this weather!!!!

I'm going out for drinks with friends tomorrow night. So excited for girl time.

I agree with everyone that it's been a long week!! We had the state testing exams at our school this weeks, and with my kids being in special ed, they don't take the tests or understand why this means we have to stay in the room. ALL. DAY. LONG. So it was a long week! At the same time, it's been great because our roommate is on vacation, so H and I have had the apartment to ourselves! Finally!!
I'm looking forward to this weekend! My mom is coming to visit me tomorrow, yay!! She doesn't come here very often, I usually go home, but I can't really afford the gas to go visit, so I talked her into coming.
I haven't seen her in a month and a half or so. MIL's birthday is tomorrow, so we're going to get pizza tonight since H is off and probably lunch tomorrow. I think H hates this week because it's the valley of birthday's. His mom's is tomorrow, his sister's on Wednesday, and mine Thursday!! haha.

This week, H's boss took him out to lunch. He's only been with this company since December. His boss told him that he is very happy with his work and he sees H having a long future there. The boss is going to give H more responsibility and give him one of the biggest clients that they have. He said soon, he's going to give H a formal offer for a raise that he knows H will be happy with!! H wasn't supposed to have his performance review until July.
Yesterday, H and I did the Bronx Zoo Run for the Wild for elephants. It's a run and walk, we walked. It was a beautiful morning and we had a lot of fun together. After that, we had our nephew for the day because my brother and SIL went to a wedding. We took him to the park and everyone was loving him. We were beat when we finally went to bed but it was such a happy day
Today we're just hanging around, nothing special.
