I like a laptop because it's portable and we don't have internet so I go somewhere that has wifi. But I prefer to work on a desktop purely for ergonomic sake...
I like the laptop because I can use it anywhere in my house. I love my kindle for reading, but I do use FB and pinterest on it a lot. I don't like typing on it though, it has PMS about typing sometimes and just makes me mad.
Laptop for work
iPad for home...sometimes I pull out my laptop if I'm doing something that can't really be done on my iPad
I'm good with either a laptop or a desktop. I currently have a laptop and do love it. I think once we get our own, bigger place, and have the money, I'll want a cheap desktop in addition. I like the accessibility of my laptop everywhere, but sometimes I'd like the big monitor and separate keyboard and mouse that comes with a desktop!!
I HATE using the iPad for browsing the internet. Absolutely hate it. My mom and H both have one that they use in lieu of a computer and I don't understand how!
We have a desktop that the kids use to play games and H and I have our own laptops. I love having a laptop. We can be super lazy sometimes and sit on the couch together, turn the tv on and mess around online.
I'd like to get a tablet for when we go on road trips or when I need to follow a recipe. It's something I'd like to get soon.
