Bike rack recs for cars?

Anyone have a bike rack that attaches via hitch to your car? We are looking to get one and will probably get a 4-bike rack.

Any brands and features that are recommended?

I don't have a brand recommendation, but I have found that REI is one of the best companies to seek out for info/advice when looking for outdoor items. They guarantee all items forever and no need to keep the receipt. Also, if there is an item that is less expensive and meets your needs, they are going to encourage you to buy the less expensive item over something pricey.

I have had 2 friends who worked at REI and I am a member of REI and I've been pleased with all items I've purchased through the company.

Some of my family members are avid bikers and swear by Thule. I send the REI suggestion.

As bikers who usually bike to where we are going I kind of think no specific bike rack is bad. We bought a 3 bike one big joe pro from a REI garage sale. We just sold it since we bought the box bike.

our original one is bad. But we bought it at Target a thousand years ago. Now that we have a Thule, which most bike places carry, I notice a significant differnce in the security of the bikes on the car. I was always nervous our bikes were going to fall off the old one.
