Oh, Amanda, that scenario is not conducive to learning at all!
Our cleaning guy leaves us notes all of the time. And he always spells the this way "THEE". It cracks me up. He also signs them with "Mr. Cleaning Guy III". Like I can't be on a first name basis with him?
Adam Levine has a girl named Amber on his team on The Voice. I want to record him saying "Amber" and use it as my ringtone. (I'm a 39 year old fangirl.)
Aw! We can be greedy basket wanting people together! I didn't tell you guys that I did win a door prize at Family Fun Night. And you will be SO jealous of my prize. Four coupons for a free order of fries at Arby's. (I am not a fan of Arby's, but I guess I can eat free fries there).
that is so exciting Kris! good luck, it is like the most stressful voluntary thing people do. But being about a year out from our move, i can say it is worth it!

No. I am in pure denial. I probably won't pack until Sunday (we leave Monday afternoon). trying not to over plan/schedule anything and just get there and do what feels right. Let EJ lead the way. so the total opposite to all of the crazy that the internet brings to the trip. I am more concerned about cleaning the house before we go for my mom (who is watching the puppers) and calling the pool company we contracted to make some repairs to warn them we will be away next week in the event they want to start the work. Oh, and fitting in one more yoga class before I go. Maybe two. Last nights class was really good medicine.
Yay, for finding a house Kris! I hope it works out. Is it in the North Hills?

I am so bad at coming up with randoms...I guess my random today is a pet peeve. I can't stand when people back into parking spaces when they are completely inept at backing into parking spaces. This morning I saw someone trying to back into a space. During this time, I pulled into my space, got my purse together, got out of the car, put on my jacket, walked all the way to the stairwell, and they were STILL trying to back into their space. I see this happen all the time, and I just don't understand how people think that is easier than backing out of a parking space.

Must add, that is was the first house we have ever looked at that the house looked even better than the pictures.
It is, actually you probably pass it picking the boys up at daycare.
Perhaps we will have to be sister wives. He can be the Cody to our Meri and Janelle.

Why is it I can never thinking of something on the days of a random post? Ha. Anything I can think of now would come off more as a vent than a random. Everyone here at work is on my last nerve. Two came in sick with no voice because they have something due. Um we don't work for the FBI or anything.... if it doesn't get done until tomorrow, no one will die or put our national security in jeporady. Please.

i am glad someone thinks so! it is mostly just a coping mechanism i have. did the same the week before the wedding, when my mantra was "as long as we end up married and fed, the day will be a success" I just step away from the crazy and let it just happen.

Amanda, I am happy to see your approach to Disney! All of the crazy things I see online make me want to run far, far away from Disney.
this is one of my biggest pet peeves! Usually it is because they block me from getting a space while I wait for them to back up. I just don't ever see the need to back in!!! Its more difficult and time consuming than backing out and it always seems like the person is incapable of doing it anyways!
I back in to my favorite spot at work every morning. But I promise that I am quick and efficient and am in the spot in no time.
I hate it when people back in at the grocery...because why would you not want easy/quick access to your trunk? And then they try to push the cart between their car and the car behind them. It's stupid.
I agree with both of you. Also, 9 times out of 10 someone backs in next to me and they are so croocked I can't get into my car.
here's my random...
I got a good shutterfly deal so I put together photo baby books for both of the girls. I have all these great candid shots of dh and the girls when they were babies. Just cute pictures from everyday life. There are NO pictures like that with me and my kids. Unless it's a holiday there are no pictures of me with my children. I just wish dh would have had the sense to pick up the camera every once in a while like I did.
I abhor self check out at the grocery store. I went last night and they didn't have any actual people working lines, so I had to suck it up. I guarantee I missed stuff, scanned stuff twice, etc. I was so annoyed some guy actually laughed at me and my struggles.
We had a vendor bring in bakery cookies this afternoon. It's taking SO much willpower not pig out on them. I keep telling myself i have to be in a bathing suit in public in 3 weeks, but they're so delicious!
you probably would have to run a mile to burn off one of those cookies... you are welcome.

Ugh, I feel you. My boss is obsessed with donuts. Seriously, he buys a dozen donuts PLUS eight maple rolls for 7 people. It is so hard not to eat multiples.
My DH doesn't pick up a camera to take a snap shot ever....It is the same way in with us. I have tons of incredibly adorable photos that I took of DH and our boys but there are next to none of me with the boys. And I know I've seen tons of old snapshots he took prior to our coupledom because which proves he is perfectly capable of taking a picture. I'm thinking about getting him his own point and shoot camera for father's day....maybe that will encourage him to take more pictures. Maybe he is just afraid of touching my cameras...(and I have few: a point and shoots, 2 SLR 35 mm film cameras (one is old school manual and the other is more technologically advanced, and my brand new Nikon d3200).
And my random of the day: I caught an episode of Ryan Locthe's new show on E! and I really don't get what the appeal is. Sure he is decent looking but as soon as he opens his mouth it is so detracting. I just can't stand him.
