I saw you may be moving at the end of the month! how exciting is that for you all!?!? I can only imagine. Do you visit the house often to check on the work? I would have a hard time staying away. I hope everything goes as planned from here on out and you get in soon! What did they end up doing with the second floor bathroom drain that was causing issues for you?
Re: amyjoy- moving
We can't wait! They're hanging drywall today and our contractor said that things should fly after this. And I'm fairly certain that it will, because if we're not in by 6/18 they will be defaulting on their end of the contract.
Our new house is only 5 minutes away from where we live now, so we go over there almost every day to see the progress that has been made.
We've also already planted our garden there, so we need to go check up on that. It's also great for taking the dog out there to run, since we currently have very little outdoor space.
For they second floor bathroom they took my suggestion of switching the layout and moving the toilet and sink from the right side to the left. It was really that simple and has no impact on the usability since the layout is the same, just flipped.
