Weight Watchers

Hi ladies--

I think there were a few of you on here doing WW.  Anyone still on it?   I started back the Friday before last.  I lost weight with it before, but this time I'm struggling to find low point snacks (besides the free fruits and veggies that don't seem to fill me up).  I like the fiber one brownies for 2 points...but I don't have them very often because they don't always agree with my tummy.

Any tips on low point snacks?  What  has been the lowest you've found for cereal and yogurt. When you only get 26pts per day, 3 pts for a snack vs. 1 or 2 seems like a big hit.

Thanks!

I am not currently doing but have you ever tried those little wedges of laughing cow cheese? They have a variety of flavors. I like dipping carrots (or other veggies) in for a snack. What are almonds on WW? Points wise I mean? I found these 100 cal packs of cocoa roasted almonds that are to die for! Especially when you need something sweet. :) Let me think what else.

I use the laughing cow cheese on my english muffin.  I never thought to dip veggies in it.  Great idea!  The 100 calorie packs of almonds are 3 pts, but I haven't tried the cocoa roasted ones.  I might have to check those out!

  • So as I mentioned before I counted calories, so I am not as familiar with the point system to relate it to your plan. But I can give you some ideas!

    normal snacks for me:

    Kashi granola bar (140 calories)

    Chobani yogurt (140 calories)

    Cheese stick

    banana

For breakfast I typically have like 1-1.5 servings of cheerios, with 2% milk then i eat again at 9 most days. Either a serving of steel cut oats with a little brown sugar, or a banana and kashi bar. Then lunch- sandwich/salad or veggie. I usually eat again by 2 or 3 (yogurt) Dinner varies and I just got more careful about portions.

I tried to give myself foods that will give me that full feeling longer, with whole grains, nuts, and things high in fiber (and are slow to digest). That way the snack is more satisfying and I am less tempted to eat something else.

(FWIW I was netting between 1300-1500 calories per day to lose about a pound a week)
