I have some cheesy ones today but that is what happens when you go through a scary experience.
I am thankful
That my baby is home and everything seems to be okay for now.
For the ladies here. You guys are so nice and so supportive it just warms my heart! Sometimes it makes me sad that a bunch of internet "strangers" can be so much more supportive and caring than our own family and friends.
For all the medical staff at MaryBridge. For taking such great care of my baby, for being so nice and caring, for answering all my questions, for not treating me like a crazy person every time I started bawling.
And now for a not so cheezy one...
I am thankful that Ava Nichol can entertain herself on mornings like this when I am a zombie. She knows Mommy isn't a morning person and knows we will play after breakfast!

I will say I have had a crazy horrible/good week. So many great and bad things.
I was so upset about the GD, but my appointment on Monday went so well, I finally thought "I can do this".
My sister called me Tuesday to let me know my grandpa is dying. We aren't terribly close, but it has been hard. He has cancer and about 3 months to live. He is 86.
Last night dh started to have terrible tooth pain. His dentist is out of town. It is looking like and emergency root canal for him today.
Dh was interviewing of a job, they asked him on Friday for his references. Yesterday we heard from on reference that they called! We are hoping they will offer him the job!!! It would be a great opportunity. He has been upset about his current job recently.
We were supposed to have a garage sale Saturday. Now it will depend on how dh is feeling.
So much in just a short time!
I am thankful for:
unanswered prayers
answered prayers
my moms help with the nursery and so many other things
that my baby is healthy
dh's potential job opportunity
that our fur babies are healthy
that dh can get the dental help he needs
the wonderful weather we have been having
fate
that I only have to be pg for 14 more weeks :-)

for my healthy pregnancy
that nothing is broken in my house at this exact moment (KNOCKING ON ALL THE WOOD)
for little powdered sugar donuts
I'm so sorry about your grandpa. It's never easy to lose a loved one. I work at a cancer center, and it always saddens me to hear those who are given such short time. We recently had someone who was given 60 days, and I believe he was only in his 50's...It just seems so unfair.
If you need to talk, feel free to PM me. I actually am going through a similar experience with my grandpa right now. He is 87, and has been degrading in health a lot lately, mainly because of heart problems he has has for 30 years and old age. I don't think he will make it to next year...I also lost my grandma 4 years ago to lung cancer. She only lived a month after she was diagnosed.
Hang in there, and let yourself cry if you need to. ((Hugs))
I am thankful for DH's new job. He alone is making almost what we made together before. This will be so nice when baby gets here, since I'll be cutting my hours a lot.
I am thankful to have such a supportive family, in-laws included. They are very drama-free which seems to be almost rare these days.
I am thankful for my health, and having a mostly relaxed pregnancy thus far. I really hope that continues.
