Pre-ordering with Amazon
Might be a dumb question but....it's been ages since I've pre-ordered anything off Amazon. (pretty much since the last Harry Potter movie came out).
I want to pre-order two games that come out later this year for T for his birthday in a few weeks. I thought that your method of payment wouldn't be charged until the item ships (in my case, later this year: September for one game and November for the other). Is this the case? Or is the method of payment charged immediately?

What games did you get?
T got Call of Duty: Ghost which comes out in November and Grand Theft Auto five, which comes out in September. Not my cup of tea whatsoever but it keeps him happy lol. I've learned I am not his mother and to pick my battles with the games he plays. lol. I told him he better get it in now because he isn't playing them around our children = ).

J is excited about COD, but he doesn't have an xbox anymore. I don't remember if that is one that comes out on CPU, which is where he spends most of his time.
He finished bioshock weeks ago!
Yes, Bioshock is one of my favorite series of videogames, and I almost pre-ordered it to get it months ago. Buuuut I figured with grad school, I'd put off buying it haha.

T loves Bioshock too! I just get too frustrated with video games lol. But more power to any one who plays them!
Nope. He mentioned he wanted to pre order them and I played the "well, let's get my school paid off first." card. I know he won't preorder them without asking me first and if I tell him "not now" he won't. I gotta figure out something fun on his birthday though to tell him he's getting them when they come out.
