It's been a crazy week for the Philly Nesties! I hope everyone has fun things planned this weekend.
Tonight: we are chilling out. Dinner at home followed by likely a nice long walk and playtime at the park.
Tomorrow: we're double booked with a 5th birthday party and a communion party. I see exhaustion in my future!
Sunday: we're going to try to head up to the Strawberry Festival at Peddler's Village after DS wakes up from his nap. They have a ton of stuff for kids. Looks cute.
Re: weekend plans
Tonight - hopefully pizza, mindless TV and an early bedtime. I am wiped.
Tomorrow - brunch for a communion, early dinner with friends
Sunday - cleaning and doing something with H and the babe.
H has to go down the shore to help his parents get ready for their renters. I was debating on going but decided I rather have a day to myself.
Tonight - Catch up on all my tv shows and hang with the pets
Tomorrow - Going down to DE and visit my cousins
Sunday - Date day aka errand runs and hanging around
tonight- DH is getting out early so we are all going to the zoo after work and then out for pizza.
tomorrow- heading up to Philly for 2 communion parties
Sunday- Day Out with Thomas at the B&O Railroad museum in Baltimore.
Lando- I am so sorry we didn't get to meet up last weekend. I started drinking at the boathouse at 430p and they didn't think to tell me the beers were 8% and 12%...... I went to bed early.
DH is having 12 yards of mulch (apparently that's a lot) delivered today, so tomorrow we have my brother, sister, and brother-in-law all come over to help with the dirty work. The boys will likely be dealing with the mulch while my sister and I are on baby duty and do other party prep (1st bday party is next weekend).
On Sunday we're having pictures taken by a friend who's a semi-professional photographer for his 1st birthday. Of course I get him up this morning and he has a huge bruise on his lower lip from apparently bumping it yesterday. So now I'm wondering what condition that will be in for pictures. Trying not to care, and just chalk it up to the fact that he's a boy and will probably have bruises/scrapes/cuts on his body for the next 15 years or so.
Today: is baby day. The dads are on their way in. I have an appt with the social worker at the hospital to go over procedures. At 1145 the three of us are doing a hospital tour. 1pm OB appt. In the evening we'll all have dinner together.
Saturday: I'm modeling in the Bryn Mawr Hospital fashion show!
Sunday: I have a meeting after church so I'll be there from 830-noon. It's like being a southern Baptist. Then I have youth group at 430. I'm teaching the lesson which is on sex, definitely not Southern Baptist!
Well it is Cinco De Mayo...
Tonight--dinner and a movie with DH
Tomorrow--starting work on some nursery projects. DH has a rocking chair to refinish and I want to go pick out some paint. We found out we are having a girl--so bring on the pink!
Sunday--No plans yet
Today: half day to pickup Broad Street Run race bibs; Phoenixville First Friday events tonight
Tomorrow: Farmer's market, some shopping then REST because
Sunday: up at 4 AM for Broad Street Run! Run 10 miles, then head back home to the goat races
OFF MONDAY!
Tonight: Picking up paint at Sherwin Williams for the nursery since they are currently running a 30% off sale. Then home to clean and organize for the evening.
Tomorrow: Day trip to Lancaster to shop for fabric and plants with the MIL.
Sunday: Not too sure. I've got a pretty long to-do list that could use my attention but I may also go play in the city a little bit with my friends. There is a block party at El Vez for Cinco De Mayo. Of course I can't drink but I sure could go for some tacos and guacamole!
Jess H - I can't believe D is one year already!
Tonight - no plans. P&S were talking about moving and purging this morning on the radio so I'm having the urge to go home and nest a bit.
Sat & Sun - again, no plans. Mr.D is planning on doing a lot of yard work outside so J & I will be hanging out together. I'm going to try and get him outside a lot to wear him out.

It's Greek Easter Weekend!
Tonight: Good Friday service.
Tomorrow: Union Game, and then H is going to the 11pm service. I'll be sleeping because I almost fell asleep at the wheel driving home from that service last year.
Sunday: Church at noon, then going to SIL's house for Easter dinner.
Here's a tip: use rounded shovels when moving the mulch. With a rounded shovel, you'll be able to pickup more and get it in/out of the wheelbarrow. We also had our snow shovel out to move the mulch that fell of the tarp we put down. Very helpful.
Tonight: Work for me until 9, Martin's friends are in from NY this weekend so we will probably chill when I get home.
Saturday: We were going to go to the Radio 1045 block party but after getting stuck in all that traffic last Saturday I don't feel like dealing with trekking to the city so we are going to get the patio furniture out and use the smoker I got Martin for his birthday and smoke some ribs and chill with our guests.
Sunday: Sly Fox Goat Races
Tonight: First Phillies game of the season.
Tomorrow: Quick grocery store trip. Then we have to go to the stadium to pick up our bibs for Broad Street.
Sunday: Running Broad Street. Relaxing in the afternoon.
Thanks! DH is VERY good with this kind of stuff, so he has a variety of shovels and rakes ready to go. Good call on the snow shovel though, that's a great idea.
My next door neighbor texted me a picture of it being delivered, and it is definitely larger than a vehicle. Eek.
I know, it's insane!
Late to the party....
Tonight- sushi play date at a friends
Tomorrow- T3 is two! We have a block party in the afternoon and then the grandparents are coming over for pizza and cake to celebrate. Then early to bed..
Sunday- and early to rise for BSR. I picked up my bib earlier today and kind of feel like throwing up every time I look at it, as excited as I am, I am so nervous! I know it is the hype of it all that is getting to me, need to remember it's just another run. a really long one.
Will hopefully cross the finish line and enjoy a much needed beer. or margarita. or both.
