You guys, it is snowing here. This has been the worst week for me -- I am loaded up with projects for work and in the middle of it all, I had to make a 4-hour road trip to a doc's appointment for my dad. He has a brain injury and my sisters and I have seen him deteriorating rapidly in the last couple years. Long story short, the appointment did not go well.
On Thursday we started taking down the old tile in our bathroom to replace it and found mold. So now we're dealing with that. It's such a mess ... this week could not have been worse.
So this weekend I'm holing myself up and forcing myself to work out (it always makes me feel better and this week has just been too busy to do it) and trying to get out of the doldrums. Sorry to bring you all down!
Sorry for the crappy week sdose!! Hopefully this weekend will help! And so sorry to hear about your dad!
I'm going to be a hermit this weekend. DH's aunt is having a card/game party tonight - I don't want to go. I'm just not in the mood to put on a happy face & socialize with them. He might still go though, which is fine with me!
Saturday, DH has to work, so I will probably be lazy & get the laundry done.

Evening! I'm exhausted. I supervised a practice after school and then helped with an elementary school concert. I came home for about 2 hours and now I'm waiting to go pick up my co-worker to go out to the bars for her birthday.
I kind of wish I didn't agree to be her DD so I could stay home and relax. H isn't here tonight and it's my first night alone since I moved down here alone in July. Oh well. At least I won't feel guilty coming in really late.
