BOOKS!

Hi Ladies,

I'm not a big reader, but we leave for our anniversary trip on Wednesday and I need a good book to read during our flight times! I have a tablet so will just be buying it that way-Any good books that you ladies have read lately?

Thanks!

Re: BOOKS!

  • I've been crazy busy lately and not on here recently, but I'm a book nut so I'm going to comment here.

Have you ever read The Hunger Games? If so, and you liked it, try out the Matched Trilogy. Love them!

    Gone Girl

    The Da Vinci Code

    The Lost Symbol

    Outlander

Anything by Nora Roberts makes for a light, fun read. The Inn Boonsboro trilogy is pretty good if you want a fluffy read.

The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo is good as well. It has a slow beginning but it picks up and is a really good book. I read it on our honeymoon.

i never read the hunger games, but loved the first matched book.  Fun easy, yet thought provoking read.

i also second gone girl, and the dragon tattoo series.  If you can get through the first bit, you will zip through the rest of the series!

  • Kind of hard to say without knowing what type of books you usually like - can you name a few of your all-time favorites?

  • HaHa, I guess when I say "I'm not a big reader" I should have specified and said I NEVER READ, like, ever......So, I'm not really sure what types of books I like, was just looking for suggestions, then would look into them a bit more...
  • I just read the first two books of divergent series. Very good, I think any of you who liked hungry games will like this series as well!

  • I love Sophia Kinsella books for vacation. They are very girly and easy and fun. Might be a good way to get you into reading haha!
