I know I haven't been around much since they blocked the nest at work. Hope everyone is doing well.
I'm looking for ideas for a mini vacation probably just the weekend that would be fun for the boys. I'm not really sure what they would really enjoy at this point. I mean we plan to take them to the zoo a couple of times but I can't really think of anywhere that would be worth and over night since we will also be camping with them several times this summer. But my husband would like to get away for a weekend just the 4 of us.

How about Idlewild?
My three sons!
Idlewild has been really expanding over the years. You could turn that into a 2 day trip.
the Erie one is Splash Lagoon. I've heard it's not as great for little little kids though...how old are your kids?
We just went to Niagara Falls to an indoor waterpark. Dd had a blast. But depending on your kids ages I'm not sure the trip would be worth it. I live closer though so it was a very quick trip for us.
Thanks for posting about this!
We're looking for somewhere to take a long weekend with G too! And I think your boys are around the same age.
I just want to take him to a place where he'll be able to do stuff and enjoy himself. We're leaning towards Laurel Highlands/Idelwild area - but we're thinking about Splash Lagoon, too.
