How MM was Your Weekend?

We haven't had this in awhile.

Friday: $13.86 for a Domino's Delivery (including tip).

Saturday: $1.29 for a RedBox rental (FYI: Flight was not a great movie). $6.29 for chocolate shakes for DH and me. $53.36 at Super Target for some produce, dog food, and 2 70 quart plastic storage bins with lids.

Sunday: DH spent about $35 for lunch (2 adult lunch specials and one kids' meal).

Total: $109.80

Re: How MM was Your Weekend?

  • Not very MM...I had McDonalds twice, and spent $300 at walmart on groceries...in some defense, that was for a complete restock of paper bath products, and our cupboards were totally empty!

  • We actually didn't do too bad this weekend. $60 on groceries, $12.50 to see Iron Man 3 together, and $30 for a gift card at the local convenience store where H buys way too much soda. That gift card should last a while, so I only hated spending it a little.

  • I spent the weekend visiting my parents (big huge lake-wide yard sale).  I participated in the sale and made about $200...but then I turned around and bought $50 worth of stuff from my brother.

Tee he he. At least the stuff stayed in the family and your brother can "visit" it whenever he wants.

  • DH HAD to see Ironman this weekend.  we went out Friday and spent $18 on dinner at Granite City.  Spent $20 for tickets on the movie.  Baby Sitter was $20.  I got a pedicure on Sunday which was $45 with tip and got my mom a $35 gift card for mothers day.  I also had to put $35 of gas in my car.  Total  $173

  • This is the first time I've seen this post, so I didn't really keep track very well (it's on the budget at home). But I can tell you we didn't do very well this weekend. After our baby shower on Saturday we went to Babys R Us to use some of the coupons we had before they expired and spent about $200 on baby stuff (thankfully a lot of that was gift cards/ cash from the shower). then on the way home we stopped at Arbys and ate out ($15). Plus getting drinks and some last minute stuff for the shower was $30. So that's $245 on Saturday alone- yikes! But we didn't leave the house on Sunday, so I guess maybe it was an okay weekend.

  • I like these!

Saturday - $18 for gas (not sure if this was for motorcycle or for filling up gas can for lawn mower), $9 at wal-mart, $5 at speedway for drinks/doughnuts; $36 at menards

     Total:  $146

  • I would like to join in on this next week but I have a question first- is this stuff that is NOT budgeted for? For instance, we budget $80/week for groceries, so if we spend $30 on grocries, does that count? Or is this post to track all of the "here and there" spending that is not budgeted for?

Thanks! also, sorry for the dumb question Sad

  • Not a great weekend for us money wise...but it never is when we travel home to see our families.

Friday we spent $20 at a liquor store on snacks and beer

Saturday we spent $12 on Chinese food take-out, then we spent about $50 on beer for our game night

Sunday we took DH's family out for dinner and picked up the tab - $66 with tip.

Also spent about $80 on gas for the whole weekend.

Puts us right around $228 for the whole weekend.

It's just total amount spent from Friday night thru Sunday regardless of budget (at least that's how I have always interpreted it).

    LOL

My brother has pretty good taste so I got pretty much a whole Ikea office set...and the best part it was already put together!

  • Our weekend was pretty spendy. We are terrible from April - October. Then the winter months we hibernate and do nothing.

Friday: $33 on tickets for Ironman 3 in 3D. $21 for dinner at Steak n Shake, $11 for popcorn and pop at theater. $46 for gas.

Saturday: $16 for 5k race registration, $7 for new sunglasses, $8 for lunch with my mom, $111 at Maurices for new work clothes, $17 at Target, $15 at friends' wedding reception for drinks, $1.50 at Redbox
H spent - $15 for lunch, $45 on tools for the car.

Sunday: $28 for H's breakfast with my parents (was his turn to buy), $400 for weedeater and edger (we had been putting off buying this since we bought the house 4 years ago. Thankfully it was paid for with leftover money from our wedding)

    Total: $774.50
