Mothers day gifts... I forgot to budget for it!
So... I forgot that mothers day plus dh's moms birthday is next weekend. And I forgot to budget for it. Oops... I don't even have any "other" money left for it because we had a heat wave and ds had no shorts so I bought some second hand as well now that money is used.
We are definitely going to come across cheap this year. 
and they do SO much for us babysitting ds.
In good news we are trying very hard to stick to our budget and I think dh is on board with building up our efund as a first priority. I find the budget kind of like a diet though. Knowing I can't go shopping is making me want to buy everything in site!

You can buy 10 $5 off a $5 Kohls coupons for a couple dollars (like $2) on Ebay. That's potentially 10 small gifts for $2.

i think this is a great idea. A handmade gift from the kids is always appreciated. Even some hand picked flowers could be a nice gesture.

This is how my mom is too. Our local grocery store has lots of flower you can buy. I saw they have a kids bouquet for $7. I think we will get that for DD to give to my mom on sunday
