New to Texas

Hi my Husband and I just moved to the area from NC a couple of months ago. Neither one of us want to hang out with the people we work with as we would like to keep work life and personal life seperate. Anyone know of a good way to meet people?!

Re: New to Texas

  • Definitely talk to your lender but also talk to your realtor. They realtors may be able to work it out for you (hopefully with a price break on the house if you can manage with moving your move date back a couple of months. Hope this helps :)
  • Welcome to Texas!
Depending on your area, there are plenty of great places you can go to get connected. I hate to sound cliche, but we ended up finding most of our "married friends" at church.
We're in the North Dallas area and it's great. Staggering Irishman is a cute local bar with lots of friendly people.

    Reach out :)
