I guess it's my turn...

...for an update post! WOO!

So life has been quite busy with try to find Jared an apartment up in Seattle and me an apartment down here in California. Seattle is stupid in the fact that they don't know what their apt availability is until 20 days before move in date, because the state only requires a 20 day notice for tenants to move out. Luckily, the complex Jared wanted was had an opening that, if we signed a lease starting April 30th, we would get all of May free (we were looking for a start date of June 1st). FINALLY signed a lease for Jared about a week ago. It's quite nice, right across the street from amazon so he can walk back and forth to work for lunch. 31st floor. I'll see if I can post pictures!

I just signed a lease for my apartment. I'm moving into a 1 bedroom in the same complex we currently in. I move my stuff over May 17th, which is great because it gives me a chance to move my stuff out of our current place and have overlapping leases so I can clean my current place. I'll post pictures as soon as I move in!

Other than that, only 3 weeks left of the semester and I'm drained. This year was intense, with 16 hours a week of unpaid internship along with all my full time classes. Next year, it goes up to 24 hours a week of unpaid internship, full time classes, and a comprehensive paper (like a thesis). I'm ready for summer break...

On another upside, 29 more days until Jared and my 7 day alaska cruise! I'm SO ready. We booked one excursion so far. Bike and Brew Glacier View. It's a 9 mile bike tour in Juneau that goes through Chapel-by-the-Lake, by Mendenhall Glacier, and through a rain forest. At the end, we go to Merchant's Wharf where the brewery is to taste their beer. So excited. All our trips we try to do bike tours. When we first went to New York when we first started dating, it all started with a bike tour. Then on our honeymoon we went on one in Puerto Vallarta. We love it.

I guess that's about it for me! Just restless since both Jared and I are moving to different locations in the next 4 weeks.

  • That's a lot going on!  But it's all exciting.  Just thinking about your next school year makes me feel overwhelmed.  Wow!  But I know you'll do great. And I'm so jealous of your Alaskan cruise. One of these days or years we'll get a cruise.
