LOL! I've been doing the same thing!
#1 - I really really really don't want to train a new girl next week. It's not even for her to help me, but to "see what our branch does". You would think I could give an overview, and be done, oh no, they want to her "work the data". I'm sorry I don't trust people after a few months, let alone 2 weeks. So that means I spend time training... and working and reviewing her work. WHAT ABOUT MY NEST TIME?!
#2 - H told me something 2 weeks ago and I'm still hurt over it. He knows I've shut down, and last night he said he wants the old me back. I'm not even sure how to get back to normal. I know I have a lot on my mind with my mom and my own health, I just feel like I've shut that part down because I can't deal with it all. He picked an awesome time to drop a bomb on me.
My H's favorite shirt was this ratty old black polo, so old that it wasn't really black anymore, it had faded to that greenish-gray black fabric turns into when it's been washed too many times. It had holes, it had stains, but he STILL insisted on wearing it out in public! My confession is that I got him a new black polo at Christmas and threw the old one away in secret! It took him over two months to realize what I did!
