"..and in the morning I'm makin' waffles!"
Well, welcome to the nest. I guess I am officially out of a job around these parts. Ha I think all I did was close discussions on accident there at the end.
Today is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wahooo!! We have no techs at work today so its going to be interesting. I don't really mind, but my colleague was already bitchy about it yesterday. So yay me.
What glorious plans do you have this weekend?
Re: "..and in the morning I'm makin' waffles!"
Hmph. I'm upset about this and I don't like change. But moving right along.
I woke up all excited that today was Friday but then remembered we had graduation today. It actually shouldn't be too bad since the prep work is the worst part. If I'm home by 9pm tonight, I'll consider it a win.
DH has a 5k early tomorrow morning so I'll be there cheering him on. Then we plan on going to see Iron Man tomorrow night. Then on Mother's Day, everyone goes to DH's grandma's house to help her do her outdoor spring cleaning/landscaping. But the weather is supposed to be bad so we may get out of it this year.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
PS - the one good thing about TN is that they have much better emoticons.
my read shelf:
Blah, I'm with Liz. I don't like change. Plus, I was looking forward to reading our old posts! Bummer.
Nothing much this weekend. We're going to see my mom for Mother's Day, but that's about it. After this weekend, I'm officially bound to stay in town. Yikes!
Helloooooooooooo ladies.
Aggie - You've stumped me with the quote. I'm going to have to look it up. Hopefully your day at work is a good one!
E - I hope graduation goes well for you! Good luck to your H on his 5k! Let me know how Iron Man is, we want to go see it.
Lois - Hiiii!!!
I've got nothing. It's my day off. I plan to clean the house. DH is leaving right after school to spend the weekend at my mom's house for a fishing derby. He could catch a fish worth up to $5,000! I hope he does. haha. Last year he didn't catch any prize fish.
My mom and stepdad leave tomorrow for their vacation. A week in Cancun. I'm jealous.
ETA: I work this weekend, 8-4 Saturday and Sunday. DH will be gone, and won't be back until Sunday night some time, so I plan to spend my time at home doing lots of nothing. haahha. Saturday after work I'll go to Mass, then maybe up to the mall.
my read shelf:
Good morning! I hope you don't mind if I post with you all again. I usually lurk everyday and spy on you guys (out of love) but I haven't been feeling like I was in a place to post anything. I felt like all I would bring would be negativity. I actually don't mind the change to TN. I guess I'm used to it.
Aggs - Good luck today! I hope it's not too hectic.
BLV - Same to you! Yikes! Sounds like a crazy day. Stay hydrated!
And cheers to YH! That's awesome!
Lois - I'm going to miss going back and looking at old posts too. That was something I was going to do this weekend.
JLQ - Good luck to YH too! That would be awesome to win $5,000. Ooo! I just had a flash back. Please do this if he wins... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTHnUsDDQN8
What's been going on with me? Well, if you forget or if we're not fb friends and you haven't seen me post about it, it's in my sig. 3 angel babies. It hurts everyday. I had a really low point a few months ago. I won't go into details but it was bad. I've been seeing a new therapist for a month now and things have been getting better. Waking up and getting out the door is still one of the hardest things I do everyday but at least I do it.
I'm so glad it's Friday. I've been sick for the past few days (sore throat, cough, sneezing) and my head is fuzzy. Last night I thought it was Friday night. grrr! I hate those mind tricks!
Tomorrow DH (I hate using DH) has a doctor's appointment and then we'll run errands and get lunch. Sunday is going to be a hard one. Mother's Day is difficult when all of your children are in Heaven. This year I bought myself an azalea plant that blooms 3 (for my 3 angels) different times a year, which is rare apparently. Most bloom only once. So I'll be planting that this weekend.
I hope everyone has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.
I will totally do that if Jason catches the $5,000 fish. Even though he's already told me I don't get to spend any of the money. hhaha!
I'm glad things are getting a little better for you. I think of you a lot. (not in like a creepy weird way, in a "I wonder how Nikki is doing" way)
my read shelf:
Can I just hug you Nikki?
I don't have plans for this weekend. Becides the usual. Cook Clean and tend the children.
I am researching a trip to the outer banks of NC the week after the boys get out of school. We are thinking of camping for two nights.

Ask me stuff.
my read shelf:
That is a lot of laundry. I usually do three loads each week. One of his, one of mine, and one for towels and sheets. Does she change when he gets home from work?
Holla!! I am unsure of how i feel about it here yet....
My mom and sister are visiting for the weekend. We have nothing big planned. Today we went shopping and my mom scored some sweet deal on stuff for DS. Tomorrow we're going to Target which is now in Canada too (but apparently not nearly as awesome as American target still....I must visit one soon!!)
Sunday we are doing brunch with DH's family. should be a blast!
I also have laundry to do....BLAH!!
@JLQ - that is a lot of laundry! He must change after work. My dh has a terrible problem of throwing what is still clean (jeans, sweaters, etc) into the dirty laundry so if he isn't around when I do laundry it all gets washed again unnecessarily.
@uneek! Hugs for sure my lady! I've been thinking of you too!
Yes, he changes every day when he gets home from work. So he has his school clothes from the week, plus all the other outfits he wears. And he won't wear the same lounge shorts two days in a row, so he'll come home, change into shorts, then put them in the dirty laundry. They aren't dirty! All he did was wear them around the house. Drives me nuts!
I don't wash our towels every week. Is that weird? We have a lot of towels, and it's just us two, so we don't really go through them that quickly. I usually wash them like every two weeks.

Hello!
So...I can't see the whole thread when I comment? Or did I just not do it right?
For those who haven't seen, I've started selling Avon. I enjoy it so far, but I haven't put in my first order yet. But I signed up for that Square thing so I can attach it to my phone and people can pay with a credit card. Holy crap, I love it. It charges a 2.75% fee for each transaction, but I think it's more a convenience thing so I think it's worth it over having to go to the bank. So if anyone is interested, you can like my Avon page on facebook and you can get to my website from there and order stuff.
