I was in Chicago from last Friday until Tuesday morning. Caught a Cubs game on Monday night...CUBS WIN!! So, that was the highlight of my week.
Going out to dinner and to see Gatsby tonight. Super excited
My week has been pretty much spent at the gym. I'm really getting frustrated, it took me a month to lose 4lbs and one weekend to gain 3 UGH! So I've doubled up my workouts this week. I will say doubling it up has given me an insane amount of energy. I was just sitting at my desk thinking how awesome it would be to get a big group together and go play laser tag tonight. I got a mental image of myself with war paint, doing ninja flips, and barrel rolls with a laser tag gun. Pretty sure the exercise is going to my head.
So tonight I think will be laser tag.
Tomorrow I've got to pick up a baby goat from the airport I ordered from California. And I have no other plans for the weekend. It feels awesome to have an open weekend!!
Hahahah great description! I love laser tag!! I played last weekend to celebrate my birthday!
Nothing too interesting happened this week. I'm apparently pretty boring, haha.
Tonight, DH and I, my sister and her fiance, and my cousin and her boyfriend are going to a baseball game. Tomorrow night the same people plus about 6 more of my cousins friends are going bowling for her birthday. Sunday morning, DH and I and my sis and her fiance are going to brunch for mother's day with my parents and grandmother.
My mom is coming out for her 50th birthday/ Mother's Day weekend : )
She didn't want a party for her birthday, but that's not stopping me from making awesome cupcakes (chocolate cupcake, chocolate tiramisu filling, mascarpone cheese frosting!) and decorating out townhouse : )
I'm so glad this week is over! Highlight was getting 2 tops at Kohl's for $2.70. For both + tax! SCORE!
Tomorrow is mother/daughter shopping trip and lunch. Mission - non-skinny capris for me! Sunday is grocery shopping and visiting my parents.
I always have so much fun when I play! We get really silly about it. Last time we got a group of mid 20-30 something year olds we played against a group of teenage boys. We had spent a couple hours at the bar before we played. Those teenagers just killed us. It wasn't even close, we lost miserably!
A former student got an award last night. 2 students from each school receive this award, but it's still a big honor. I went to the award ceremony last night and I felt like a proud mom when they called her name. She is such a hard worker and deserves this award. I can't wait to see the person she grows into because she's on track to do such amazing things.
Tomorrow, we're going to see Cirque du Soliel Totem. I am so excited because I love all things circus. H is just along for the ride. I think he pretends to enjoy these shows because he knows how much I love them.
Sunday, we're going to H's cousin's house for lunch for Mother's Day, then back here to my parent's house.
