Seattle
I'm going to Seattle in June. I'd love any recommendations for things to do or places to eat. Thanks!

Really interesting.
No trip to Seattle is complete without a visit to Pike's Place. It will take you hours to explore, shop & eat your way through. We enjoyed wandering around the city. As a tourist you are sort of "obligated" to do the space needle. The view is pretty cool if it's not too overcast. We had time to kill so we went to EMP (the music museum) & the Sci Fi Museum. Both were sort of lame.
There are some awesome art galleries up in the Capital Hill section.
If you have the time, try to get out to Mt. Rainer. It's amazing (& I'm a city girl who doesn't much care for the outdoors --
)

-Chihuly Garden and Glass (AMAZING museum about glass; Seattle Center)
-International Fountains (Seattle Center)
-Kerry Park (Amazing views of downtown; Queen Anne)
-Museum of History and Industry (great museum in a new location that covers the history of Seattle)
-Seattle Public Library (amazing architecture; downtown)
-Go to the top of the Columbia Tower or Smith Tower for a great view of the city)
-Seattle Great Wheel (Ferris wheel located along the waterfront)
-Olympic Sculpture Park
-Gas Works Park (Former industrial site that?s uniquely been turned into an amazing park with great views of Lake Union and downtown)
If you are into food, I would highly recommend that you take a tour with Seattle Savor Food Tours. We actually participated in their Capitol Hill tour a few months ago and had a blast!

I love Seattle!! And totally agree about Mt. Rainier..but we actually really enjoyed the EMP. I've also heard that you can do tours of Theo's Chocolate (https://www.theochocolate.com/) Haven't done that one, but I've had their chocolate and they give free samples...so...it can't be bad, right?!
Look into the City Pass (http://www.citypass.com/seattle). It's one flat rate to go to multiple venues. We went to all of the places except the last option (Woodland Zoo or Museum of Flight).
