What are you reading? How are you liking it?
Re: Book Club Monday
I finished reading Hopeless - Collen Hoover. EVERYONE READ THIS!! So good, so so so so good!
I started reading Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead. I'm eh about it so far but I'm only 30% in. I need more info on this vampire world.
I'm almost done listening to World War Z - Max Brooks. It's ok, it's a collection of interviews, so there's a lot of piecing together. I do want to see the movie, even if they are calling it a flop. I keep dreaming about Zombies...
Next audiobook - The Last Olympian - Rick Riordan Book #5 of Percy Jackson.
Thanks for posting this Heidi. I haven't had a chance to get on TN until now.
I finished The Silver Linings Playbook which I really liked. TBH I didn't think that the summary of the book was really what it was about though. It had a good ending, but I still wonder what happens to the characters in the future but I guess that is the ending of any good book right?
Now I am on to Into the Darkest Corner. It's okay so far but I am only 2 chapters in so I don't have an exact opinion yet.
The Game of Thrones fans will be happy to hear that I have given up on The Rum Diaries to listen to Game of Thrones. I am only a few chapters in though and its going to take a while to finish.
Still plowing my way through The Interestings - Meg Wolitzer. I'm about halfway through and I'm really enjoying it. I do find one of the characters to be dreadfully whiny.
Mana - I can't wait to read Hopeless, I'm 4th on the list at the library!
ETA: Yes, I'm too cheap to spend the $3.99 on the Kindle book, haha...
Haha I'm so glad Hopeless is catching on!!!
This week i read Insurgent (loved it!!), Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout (once again, really enjoyed it), and Anna and the French Kiss (couldn't stop reading!! read it in a day!!)
I'm currently reading Barefoot by Elin Hilderbrand. It's good, but I'm not into it as much as i want to be.
I'm reading Sterling by Dannika Dark. I saw book two on a GR giveaway, I investigated the series and found book one for 99 cents. I'm only 11% into it, but am interested. There's a lot of unknown right now, so it will be interesting to see the story unfold.
I've had Hopeless on my to read shelf forever! I'm going to have to bump it up the list I think.
No problem!
I read a YA book, ART GIRLS ARE EASY, this week, by a comedienne I like, Julie Klausner. I didn't love it, but it was funny and good for anyone who was an art/performing arts dork as a kid.
I'm starting on a chick lit book by Helen Fielding, OLIVIA JOULES. It's not very good, but I wasn't in the mood to start anything heavier.
Yes, you definitely do!!!
WillyH - ha! I'm cheap too. If it was at my library I would have waited, but eLibrary and the real library didn't have it... I caved since I still have a GC from Christmas 2011 from B&N!
DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!
Can't wait until you get Hopeless!!! I seriously read until 3 in the morning when I started it.
I understand the cheap thing! I got my Kindle for Christmas and I've only bought one book and it was a $3.99 book. The rest I get from the library or from my SIL's Kindle account.
