Hello Monday! This is my last scheduled Monday off and I am kind of bummed. I liked my schedule! 4-10s was great, I will eventually get back to 4 10s but I am guessing it will not be Monday off.

Sorry you have to go back to working 5 days a week, Aggie! I would love it if we could do 4 10's. I get here at like 7:15 anyway to beat the traffic, so why not just work?
My weekend was good. I submitted my first Avon order yesterday and my leader was impressed by how well I did for my first order. It was mostly co-workers, so she told me my goal for my next order was to get other people to order. It'd be nice, but I feel weird pushing Avon in people's faces. Order something! Yeah, I feel like it's a bit pushy. But at least my website is taking credit cards now, so people who aren't local can order and pay online and have it shipping to them. And it's free shipping if the order is $30 or more! I was looking through the booklet today and there's so much I want to get, especially the lotions for making you look younger.
On Saturday, MIL had to put one of her cats down. She woke up and Belle couldn't move her back legs. She was already old and when she was a baby, she fell from a short bookcase or something and her hips got dislocated or something, so she's always had problems walking. She was the sweetest cat and she loved to be loved on.
My weekend wasn't too exciting.

Kris - Congrats on your first order and I'm sorry about your MIL's cat. So sad.
Not much going on here. Just counting down the days until school is over. 24..... It is super hot here. Yesterday was awful and today will be worse (97 degrees). It's supposed to cool down on Wednesday but the weather forecasters here are never right.

My weekend was lame. DH caught a ton of fish this weekend and made $110. Not bad. Last night when he got home we went to see Iron Man 3 at the theater up town. It was good! Have any of you guys seen it?

Kris - Yay for your first Avon order! My aunt used to sell Avon. My mom just got some cute shoes from Avon.
Uneek - 97 degrees already?! Gross!!! You can send some to me, it got cold here yesterday and it's still cold today. blagh!

Happy Monday ladies
I'm absolutely exhausted after this weekend. Graduation was crazy on Friday then I had to wake up at 6am on Saturday to get to DH's 5k on time. He did good! I'm so proud of him! Then I had to my c25k work out and we went to Iron Man 3 on Saturday night. I really enjoyed it even without having seen the first two. Then Sunday we went to DH's grandma's house. Thankfully the weather was crappy so we didn't have to do any manual labor outside. My body was KILLING me after Friday and I was incredibly sore. But I'm feeling a bit better now so that's good.
Today starts our summer hours at work so I'm super pumped about that as well (we get out half an hour early every day).

Uneek the short answer is my boss's wife micro manages the schedule so it changes frequently. But I like my current schedule so this change is a bummer.
Kris! Hi :-) I almost ordered some Avon from you and I may in the future. My face wash I currently use used to be sold by Avon (my grandma used for probably 30 years or more) but I don't think it is anymore. It's expensive so I am trying to find a good face soap that's cheaper. Glad your first order was successful.
Sorry about MILs cat. That is never easy. :'(
I mentioned to my leader there was a face wash/cleanser thing I used to use but they don't have it anymore and she said it most likely has just changed name or packaging. I can try to find out what it is now if you're interested. I haven't figured out what mine changed to yet.

Afternoon! My weekend was good. My mom and sister were down. We did some shopping and got some jobs done around the house.
So I got the job I interviewed for last week but I turned it down. I've never done that before. It would require I work weekends and then have two days off during the week. Dh works shift work so we would need care for ds 1-3 days during the week and some weekends. It's just not possible and doesn't seem worth it. The money doesn't outweigh the stress. Plus we have said even before having kids that we wanted one of us to be the ones watching them so we are sticking to it. I have a friend who needs someone to watch her kids so I plan to pursue that.
So H just called me and said that our house alarm was going off and the alarm company called to ask him if he wanted the police to be dispatched. His response was "I don't know." C'mon! If the alarm is going off, you always say yes. He's worried about being charged and we get charged if it's more than 12 times in a year. This was the second time. He can't reach his mom to see if she can go by and my neighbor can't reach her husband so he can go check. Meanwhile, if it is something serious and people are trying to break in, they can wait around until the alarm goes off so they can have free reign of the house because no cops are coming.
Ugh. Husbands.
As for the house, I have no idea. Our cat has never set it off before and the last time the alarm went off, it was because a balloon was covering the sensor. That balloon is gone now. So, yeah...

No idea. SIL eventually got there and so did my neighbor and they both said everything looked okay. And it's nerve wracking because I'm always the first one home and it's creepy walking through the house looking in closets, bathtubs, everywhere to make sure nobody is in the house. I told H that from now on, he is to say yes when the alarm company asks is we want them to dispatch. The fine is only $25! Molly must have had one major freak out to get the alarm to go off. I didn't see anything when I got home that would tell me she did something.
