Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort

Has anyone been there?  It looks great, convenient, etc.

Pros, cons?

Re: Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort

  • We stayed at the Frenchman's Reef Marriott for our honeymoon.  Keep in mind this was almost 11 years ago but it was a really nice hotel  It's kind of out of the way and not walking distance to any sights.  Beautiful views though.  You would definitely need a car to get around and sight see if you don't want to take cabs.  The roads are very tricky so we just took cabs everywhere.  It was a bit expensive to get around but we didn't feel comfortable driving on the winding, steep hill, opposite side of the roads.  The Marriott was a very, very nice hotel but as I said, it wasn't what I would call "in the heart" of things.  This may appeal to you though.  Let me know if you have any other specific questions and I'll answer them with as much information as I can remember from 11 years ago.  LOL
