Have you ever cried because you were so happy?

Re: QOTD 5/15
Yes, I'm a huge sap like that!
I actually remember the first time I cried because I was so happy. It was Christmas and I was probably around 10 years old. I had been asking for a ring with my birthstone for a very long time and I finally got one. I just remember seeing it, bursting into tears, and hugging my dad.
I cried when H proposed, I cried at like every pre-wedding event, and of course at our wedding. I cried when H gave me a gorgeous new coach bag for my birthday. I think I've cried the most about being happy since I've been in a relationship with H because I've never been happier.
This is going to sound weird....
Yes, I have. I've shown dairy goats all my life. It was my 4H project as a kid, but I still have them. My first goat finished her championship (big deal) and became a premanent champion when I was 16. I waited like 10 years for one of my goats to finally finish, and I straight up ugly cried! I've teared up for a couple of my other goats that have finished since, but nothing has ever been like that moment.
Yup, I cried the happiest tears of my life last fall when my mom was woken up after going into cardiac arrest. They performed CPR for 50 minutes and then put her in a medically induced coma for 48 hours. When they woke her up to check her brain function and she was coherent, I cried the happiest, ugliest happy tears of my life!
I'm also a softy and cry when other people have babies, even strangers!
This might be weird (not to me though! haha) but I sobbed when the Fierce Five (the US Olympic gymnastics team) won gold in London. I am a HUGE gymnastics fan (the way most people are football, baseball, or hockey fans) and I have followed the careers of those five girls since they were tiny little girls. I watched them grow into the athletes they are and I was so very proud of each and every one of them. I also cannot watch Kerri Strug's Olympic moment (vaulting into history!) without crying, even though I've seen in 100 times. I am a sucker for any Olympic moment. Cried when Michael Phelp's won his first gold in Athens.
I also can't watch Susan Lucci's Emmy acceptance speech without crying. 19 nominations and FINALLY won in 1999!
I cry in happy movies.
I almost cried/got misty at my college graduation and when my dad gave me away.
i'm definitely a wedding crier, mine, other peoples, etc. I also have a very specific trigger, that i guess we can classify as happy crying:
when animals or small children save people.
gets me everytime. im crying as i type this b/c im thinking of a story i heard on the news about a 3 yo who walked to the fire station b/c her dad went into a diabetic coma. they drove by it every day on the way to preschool and he taught her that they help people...gets me EVERY TIME. but i still always read headlines like dog calls 911 and saves himself, or boy, 5, saves dad with his ABCs...
Yes!
I cried like a baby when DH proposed. I sobbed during our First Look (thank goodness we did a first look, because I would have been a mess walking down the aisle if I hadn't gotten it out before), I cried during the ceremony (luckily, it didn't turn into an ugly cry).
I also sob every time I watch the movie UP...DH and I are childhood sweethearts, and I just can't handle that movie!
I actually used to never cry during things like that...then I saw the movie Beaches and haven't been the same since LOL!
