Dr called - I don't have sleep apnea.  I just snore - ha!

Blood work looked good, they checked counts, glocuse, cholest (it was min high at 218 when it should be below 200) and thyroid.

My echo was ok.

AND.... now I wait for my follow up on the 28th.

  • Glad to hear it wasn't apnea! I snore too, I hate it.

  • Well I'm glad everything is OK but bummed you didn't get any real answers! What about trying a diet overhaul and cutting dairy and caffeine out of your diet. When I changed my diet and kept up with my workouts my energy levels completely changed.

But I love my milk!  I have been cutting back my coffee, I don't run my keurig twice to fill my mug... just once.  That's the only caffeine I have, it's water for the rest of the day.  Some weeks I get green tea to drink with dinner.  I hate soda

I did talk to my friend and she had the same thing happen.  Clear blood work and everything.  She started taking an iron supplement, protein shake for breakfast and pushing to work out.. and she said it made a world of difference.  So I'm going to try that until my follow up appt in 2 weeks.  I'm going to work out Sat-Tue and walk at lunch on nice days, that way I get my gym time in before my midweek burn out.

  • I'm glad it's nothing serious, but I understand the frustration of not getting answers.  What about vitamin D.  I noticed a difference in my energy level with a supplement.  My doctor had recommended it.

A lady at work (my work mama) said I should call back and ask if they checked my vitamin levels, esp D B-12 and Iron.  Her H started taking D too and said he felt a difference in 2 weeks.
