Noice cancelling headphones

Hoping the travelers can recommend a good budget set of noice-cancelling headphones. I don't want to pay $300 for the Bose set, but hoping for something in the $100-150 range. This is not my territory, but DH really wants a pair (and not the earbuds kind). Thinking about getting them for Father's Day.

Sorry I cannot answer your specific question. I have a pair of Bose and a sony earbud set. The bose far exceed the sony for cancelling noise. I bought my Bose at an outlet and they were refurbished. Slightly cheaper but not the range you are looking. The headsets make a great difference on long international flights.
  • I travel for work and I can tell you that with all the flying I do the splurge on the Bose were well worth it. We also wear them to mow the lawn. ;) Good luck with your Fathers Day gift search.
