What is everyone up to this weekend? At least the weather will be warmer than last week!
Re: Weekend Plans?
Fri - Noah's birthday party is tonight! He is SO excited! (BTW, I had 2 kids call after the cut off for the RSVP's, so I'm glad I bought the couple extra favors). It's at a local place with an indoor pool/slide. So they swim for 2 hours and then have pizza and cake.
Sat - soccer in the morning. Nothing else planned. DH will continue to work on our torn up bathroom. My house is a wreck because of the construction - so I think I'm going to clean window sills and screens, so I can at least have something clean!
Sun - church and in the evening going to a zumba thing at my gym. It's a 2 hour party fundraiser, so it should be fun. DH will likely continue to work on our bathroom.
Tonight - we're going to walk and get pizza (or thai) for dinner, maybe follow it up with some frozen yogurt. Laundry after G goes to bed.
Saturday - Casey is going fishing in Erie. I'm taking G to the Children's Museum with my BFF and her son. I can't wait to watch him play! He was still too little to do much the last time we were there. I think he'll really enjoy it. Dinner after. Maybe watch a movie in the evening.
Sunday - Depending on the weather, I want to plant a few things and spread mulch. If the weather doesn't cooperate, I'm going to attempt to declutter some stuff. Our house is bursting at the seams.
Have a great weekend!
Amber, have fun at Noah's party, it sounds like they will have a blast!!
Tonight: it's Liam's bday!
so we'll do something for dinner, then play outside (shhh---he's getting a scooter for his bday, so I'm sure he'll want to test drive it!)
Sat: tball in the morning, party in the evening for a friend
Sun: no plans, so we'll hopefully be able to finish spreading the little bit of mulch we have left and plant our flowers!
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
Glad you had some more RSVP's Amber! Happy Birthday to Noah! You are going to need to post before and after pictures of your bathroom too.
Friday: I have to go to the mall, then take out or grill out, DVR catch up.
Saturday: We are back to back...t-ball, Communion party, birthday party, Girl's Night Out.
Sunday: Buying our flowers and getting the yard ready for planting (depending on the rain, I guess). And hopefully I will finally organize Garrett's closet since I've been saying it for weeks.
Tonight - hitting up Aldi for grocery shopping
Tomorrow - I have a dermatologist appointment in the afternoon and DH is volunteering to help teach Boy Scouts about astronomy in the evening.
Sunday - I'm crashing Amber's zumba party at her gym and that's about it:)
Amber--ironically, we're doing Liam's bday party on June 1st! Jake graduates the day before that, and we didn't want to make my IL's come into town twice in one month, so we just moved his party to that same weekend. I figure it's just our family we're having over anyway, and it's not like he really understands that we pushed his party back a few weeks
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
youve commiserated with me before about Memorial Day bday a so I hear ya!! We are doing dd's bday the weekend after Memorial Day. Hoping doing it later will give us some nice weather!
Tonight: no plans really. I may run which will probably mean ill be tired and fall asleep early!
Saturday: dd's dance recital!! Probably do lunch afterwards and maybe hit up party city for bday party supplies. And probably go to local festival wasn't able to do last weekend
Sunday: getting a haircut that I desperately need! Not sure what else yet
Tonight - feeding the kids dinner at the playground and then making them walk with me to another part if our neighborhood so I can get my dinner from the Pittsburgh Taco Truck! Yay!
Tomorrow - I have a class to teach at 3:30.
Sunday - Heather has a soccer game.
Otherwise, I'd like to get our three flats of flowers in the ground, do the usual chores and work on some overdo items on my expansive to do list.
Tonight - not much, just hanging out at home.
Saturday - I hope to run in the morning and then the kids and I are taking the dogs to the Pooch Parade in my hometown. There is a category for smallest dog, so I'm hoping my 5.5 pound dog will win that category. After that I have a hair appointment and I'm not really sure what is going on the rest of the day.
Sunday - All of my aunts, cousins, etc. are going to my grams to visit and we are all bringing food for a late lunch. Hopefully it won't be raining, or we will be extremely cramped in her tiny house.
tonight baking and making icing for cakes for Sunday. probably minimal cleaning and laundry and some relaxing.
Saturday- pushing for DH to get up with DS and let me sleep in. Especially since i didn't get to on Mothers day. We don't have anything to do until Soccer at 10:30. Then we had to pass on a birthday party because he has his " how to be a big brother class" at St. Clair 2-3:30
then I will be icing and decorating the cakes for Sunday.
Sunday- cake pick up and travel out 28 to set up the "anniversary cake:" and attend a 40th anniversary party for some family friends.
Dh wants to have people I don't know over for dinner on Mon. and I am pushing for a NO GO On that. really?? monday? I don't have time to clean for people I don't know for my weekend along with all the other things to come home from a 40th anniversary Sunday night and work at 6 am monday and come home to entertain. blah. Mondays are usually my even ing to relax and get things together for the week.
