We're at chop, too

Might as well update you all! We went for a routine cardiology visit on wednesday and they ended up admitting us b/c his oxygen sats were too low. Definitely threw us for a loop! Yesterday he had a heart catheterization which will help get more blood to his lungs. We thought he might need his big repair surgery asap but luckily the catheter worked. It should hold him over for a few more months. If all goes well today, we should go home in a few days.

Glad to know there's a silver lining to these stressful and unexpected hospital admissions. Thoughts and prayers to both of your families, especially those feisty little boys you have.  I have a feeling both eSyn and Kernel will have a hard time keeping these boys still as they grow, get stronger and become little men!

How is Jewels doing and the little twin bebes?

I tell Eric all the time we need to open a bar directly across the street and make millions. I said it again in front of the nurse today and she said she has been saying the same thing for years.

I was talking with our nurse about this. He said they won't allow a bar that close to the hospital, b/c it would look bad to have staff drinking. Also, parents and staff in the same place drinking. He said there is a bar up the street that he goes to a lot after work. He thinks they should serve beer and wine in the caf for the parents though, haha.
