Good for us! H and I only spent $45 on a 4 months supply for flea and tick preventative for our dog. Though we spent the weekend mostly at home, we are trying to save more money after a pricey vacay 2 weeks ago, and save goal to pay off a car loan/save up for DP. I did get a bunch of clothes together for consignment and posted a few things on craigslist. I was very MM motivated this weekend

Total- $45
Re: How MM was your weekend?
Good for you!
It was not very good for us, but we were anticipating that since this weekend has been planned for a few months. We had a guest for the weekend, we we went out for 4 meals between Friday night and Sunday (treating the guest at 2 of them) and saw 2 movies, so we spent $179.
Luckily we have leftovers from several of the meals, so that's going to be our lunches and dinners for today and tomorrow
Our weekend wasn't very MM again, but we are doing house and car projects. So they are normally high this time of year. We also travel a lot on the weekends in the summer, and that's where a lot of our extra money goes.
Friday - We both filled up with gas = $92.27
Saturday - Last of the landscaping materials and flowers = $143.40. Groceries = $109.30, Graduation money (for grad parties this weekend) = $60, Car Parts = $52.35, Diary Queen = $5.09, Redbox = $1.50, Haircut & Color = $46.
Sunday - Nothing unless you count the money we put in the offering plate at church.
Total = $509.91

Not good for us, but we had saved for a night away from the kiddo. Much needed for me. None of it was taking out of our checking account. 1 night at a bed and breakfast: $175 , Dinner for 2: $106, DH bought me a cute bracelet for $5 and a wind chime for $16.
Friday I ran a 5K and met my girlfriend for dinner beforehand and dinner was $24 with tip. DH spent the evening with DD that night and had dinner at steak and shake but I'm not sure what it cost.
We also bought power ball tickets and I won $4 for having the power ball number
Friday night I spent around $7 on chicken and some corn at the store (we already had potatoes and corn bread at home). I stayed in, DH went out with some friends and probably spent a little bit on beer. But that is out of his "fun money" so I don't know how much exactly.
Saturday I spent roughly $15 for lunch groceries: sliced ham, chips, crackers, and a watermelon. I put $15 in my car for gas, but will need to put more in today...
Sunday I spent $10.62 on lunch (a wrap and a smoothie). I went out to dinner with my mom and big sister, and mom paid. DH went to Panera for dinner, using his fun money, so I am not sure how much he spent, probably around $10.
I think we did pretty good!
We spent so much this weekend, but Saturday was our first day trip with friends in FOREVER:
Friday: ATM for Saturday $50 (parking, lunch and drinks), Picture and postage to name change my passport $20, BJs $175
Saturday: Aquarium $60, parking $25, dinner with friends $70
Sunday: Groceries (and color ink for printer) $86
Total - $486

"You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." - Dr. SeussI spent $25 going out with friends on Saturday night, we went to dinner last night and spent $45. The big thing was we splurged on a yearly membership to the zoo and another animal park in the area for $200. But we went on Saturday and it would have been $50 for the 3 of us for just one day. So if we go 3 more times in a year, (which we will go many more than that!) it just made sense.
Total $270
It was a good weekend for us.
We spent $3.90 at an ice cream shop and then I spent about $90 at the grocery store (higher than we wanted, but I had to purchase a bunch of bug spray which ended up being pretty expensive)
