I need a break!

My sister graduated from college this past weekend, so even though we didn't have to travel for that (H and I still live in our college town), my whole family was here and stayed with us which just made it all pretty exhausting.

BIL graduates from West Point this coming weekend, so we're headed up to NY on Thursday, then back for a few days of work before he gets married the next weekend (so again, we'll be traveling Thurs-Sun).

On top of all of that, it looks like I'll be O'ing this weekend, which means no drinks for me at the graduation or wedding celebrations with no real reason to give either. Thankfully, H's family aren't quite as big drinkers as my family is, so it shouldn't be too obvious. SIL is so anxious to be an aunt, though, I have a feeling she's going to be fishing if I pass on a glass of wine. Not looking forward to that - I'm a terrible liar!

  • Have fun with all that! :-)  Yes, you will need a break!

Good luck with your family regarding the drinking!  I honestly probably would drink a glass of wine even in my 2WW.  I'm not much of a drinker, so all I ever drink is a glass or two of wine or a couple of wine coolers.

Another option would be to take the glass of wine, and fake drinking it.
