FPU or other financial trackers

Anyone know the difference between Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover.com budgeting and debt snowball options compared to the cds or downloads that he has available to purchase?  We just finished the 9-week FPU course and our trial of the online version ended.  I'm just curious if anyone else has any input.

We've used Mint.com and Quicken which are actually both the same but some of the accounts we have are not supported which is useless.

TIA!

Create your own and you can even split it by category with each month on a separate excel tab.  This way it is more of a conscious input on your part.

I had Quicken for a while but it was always messing up since I would manually enter my checking account information then it would always mess up my account when it would sync with my actual accounts since the dates would be different.

  • We read Dave's book and then modified an excel spreadsheet we found online for budgeting to make it work for us. We use one that has all our funds listed in it, and a separate section that allows us to enter all our expenses for the month.
