So my alma mater HS is hiring a part time teaching job. I currenly work full time an hour away from home in a poor paying district. My salary next year will cover day care and thats it.
This job at my alma mater is only one day a week, which means net I will have more money because we will not have to pay for daycare and its a 10 minute commute. If something opening up full time I'd make almost 20K more than the current district I'm in.
We've been thinking about me becoming a SAHM anyway...so I do not really want to go back to the district I'm in. This part time job is ideal. It's in my specialty and the hours would be perfect.
My question is, do I mentioned the part time aspect in the cover letter? I wouldn't know what to say without it making me seem like I don't want to put in the work for a "full time" type job. Any advice is appreciated:)
Re: job help...
I agree. I would just mention the title of the position you're applying for and not say anything about part-time/full-time.
This! Good luck, dear!
