What's everyone up to this weekend?

My brain is already at the beach, so I need some distraction today. :) My friend and I are driving down to North Carolina for the weekend for our friend's 30th birthday. I'm going to really miss the boys, but the though of laying on the beach with a Corona all weekend will help me get over that!

What's everyone else up to?

Re: What's everyone up to this weekend?

  • I'm taking tomorrow off to make it a 4 day weekend! It's dd's bday this weekend. Tomorrow I wanted to do some fun things with her just us. Am thinking of going to paint your own pottery place and there's a kid beauty salon near it and may have her nails painted or hair done.

Saturday is her actual bday. She wants to go to the zoo. We will go to her fave restaurant (red robin) for dinner.

Sunday: not sure but probably grocery shopping and cleaning the house.

Monday: we are having small family bday party so we will be doing a cookout.

  • Sarah, that sounds amaaaaaazing!

It's my favorite kind of weekend - lots of fun stuff going on, but lots of down time too.

Friday - Usual take out, DVR catch up.  (We are super behind on Castle and Modern Family.)

Saturday - During the day we'll do planting and mulching.  That evening we have a wedding at Phipps.

Sunday - Probably more planting and outside stuff.  We have a party later in the afternoon.

Monday - Picnic at my parents.  Then I have to retire early because I have a bright and early wake up call the next morning for work travel.   Waaaaahhhh!

  • So excited for a long weekend!

Friday night: for reaching some behavior goals, Jake earned a trip to Build a Bear (we were there for a party a few weeks ago, they just got to build the actual bear...so as Jake says, he's way too naked & needs clothes) :)  so we're going to head there, we'll probably grab dinner somewhere at the mall

Saturday: grocery shopping and doing some work outside. Brian needs to trim the hedges in front of our house, and I hope to get all of my potted plants done.

Sunday: going to my parents house for a family picnic

    Monday: no plans!!!

  • Friday - I took the day off - Noah doesn't have school.  During the day my mom, aunt and I are going to my cousin's house to help her set up for her stepson's graduation party on Saturday.  In the evening DH and Noah are going to niece's dance recital, so I have an evening all to myself after Brody goes to bed.  Yippee!

Sat - zumba in the morning and graduation party

Sun - DH turns 40!  We're meeting his parents, sister, niece and nephew for dinner to celebrate.

Mon - Noah's birthday!  I think we're going to go to the zoo and he will get to pick where/what we have for dinner.

(I also took off Tuesday and Wed is my usual day off, so I don't have to come back to work until next Thursday.  Woot!)

  • We're going to my parent's house in Michigan. So on the plus side, no chores for me. On the down side, I won't get any chores done thus weekend so next week will be busier. :-)

I have some knitting/crochet class handouts to work on and a few knitting designs I'd like to finish. We'll see how much I get done with my down time.

  • EJ's dance recital is this weekend, so rehearsal is Saturday and the show is Sunday. We are having friends for dinner Saturday night, and a family/friends over after the recital on Sunday for a picnic.  It will be a busy weekend but lots of fun.
  • We actually aren't all that busy. We have a picnic at my sister's on Sunday, and that's basically all we have planned!
  • For the first weekend in a month, we have NOTHING! And I'm thrilled.

Friday night, Gavin is testing out for his yellow belt in karate. Afterwards, I'm celebrating by having drinks with friend(s). (Mom of the year!)

The rest of the weekend will be laundry, plan to actually cook/grill out, hang out outside (aka: weed my flower beds) and work on my tan (ha!), play with the kiddos and maybe we'll get another house showing or two? (We have our 4th one this afternoon - 2 weeks on the market, I'm happy enough!) Maybe we'll do a breakfast or lunch out with Gavin to celebrate passing his test. Or maybe I can convicne DH to take us all somewhere, like Living Treasures or something - we'll see.

    Enjoy everyone (especially you, Sara!)

    My three sons!

  • We don't have a whole lot planned, which works for me! Tomorrow night I'll hit up the store (I've taken to going to Aldi on Friday nights and enjoy it:). Saturday we're going to do the Zoo early in the morning. Sunday I think we're going to do some cleaning. But that's about it!
  • We have someone coming on Saturday for the plumbing and electric in the bathroom. I am going to start purging my closets. I know, you are all jealous!

Sunday- I need to do some yard work since the weeds have taken over every bed that we have.

Monday-Hopefully relax a bit, maybe head over my parents.

  • Saturday - hopefully getting some work done around the house and then we have a b-day party to go to at 4:00.

Sunday - Gary & I are finally going to take a bike ride while the kids spend some time at the in-laws house. Not sure about the rest of the day.

Monday - depending on the weather, we may have a little picnic. If not, I'm thinking about taking the kids to the movies.

Our weekend is pretty much up in the air. Going to pens game tomorrow.

Saturday- T-Ball and Dh might go fishing. I will need to go to grocery store.

Would also like to get some stuff ready for the neighborhood garage sale in a few weeks. The big question is do we unload all the baby stuff in attic or hold onto incase we finally decide on another kiddo. Ha. If not, then lots of girl clothes to unload. Ha.

I just can't believe it is Memorial Day weekend already!!

  • Today is my Friday!!! I took off tomorrow for Adams school program/graduation. I have a cake to do and I plan on relaxing. I might make some cookies to take to the park for the mom organized bring your own lunch picnic we are having after the program...

Friday- Adam's program and graduation at 9:30 then to the park. One more cake to do for the weekend

Saturday- Nothing really!!! A coworking is coming to get Adam's toddler bed for her nephews that lost their house to a fire a couple weeks ago. We just got him all situated in a twin in his new room and the baby got a new crib that converts.

I will probably work on some cleaning and laundry and try to get my flowers planted that have been sitting on the porch at some point. I need DH to help turn and add some dirt to the bed or it would have been done!

Sunday- have to go to work for a few hours to do inventory which is a Monday thing, but we are closed and don't want to have to go in Monday! the chef has to work Sunday anyway...

    Monday- NO PLANS!!!!

i might like to go to the outlets at some point...
