Switching moods from my last post... Why are you excited for the holiday weekend!?
I have the day off today, 4 day weekend! Going to carb day for the Indy 500. Basically going to hang out with a drunk DH and all his drunk friends, woohoo.
Tomorrow DH is leaving at 7am with his friends to go camp out overnight at the 500. This is their favorite day of the year. They get trashed, act stupid and then leave first thing Sunday morning... no they don't even stay for the actual race. They are crazy. So while he is gone, I will go up to my parents house.. shop with mom for a bit then help them work on redecorating their family room.
Sunday we are probably going to a race day party at DH's parents house. That is, if DH survives Saturday.
Monday.. hopefully relaxing!!

I'm off today too. 4 day weekend! Woot Woot!!
We're going up north with DH's family. I'm having mixed feelings on the whole situation. Everyone will either be drinking or golfing most of the weekend. Neither of which I can do, so I'll just be hanging out being the lame-o chugging my water. It's not supposed to be very warm either (mid 60s at best) so it's not even good pool weather. I guess I'll be reading a lot of books and catching up on my magazine stack. Though there is a part of me that just wants to stay home.
I'm also off today, woo hoo! Today I'm going to work out and then clean up around the house. We have a good friend of ours from back home visiting next week.
The rest of the weekend I plan to just relax and hang out. I have a few things on my to do list, but for the most part I want to read a few books, cook some good food with DH and recharge my internal batteries

I'm working today, but it seems like it might be a slow day. phew.
The rest of the weekend, relaxing, babysitting and BBQ's. Probably clean and all that fun stuff as well.

This weekend should be pretty low-key for us. I have a massage tonight and lunch with a friend tomorrow to discuss a potential new business venture, which could be a lot of fun. And then Sunday is the Teddy Bear's Picnic with my niece. It's this awesome festival/fundraiser that is put on by the Children's Hospital. Kids bring their teddy bear's and there are fun booths set up, learning activities, etc. And of course, relaxing, cleaning, errands, etc.
In Canada our holiday weekend was last weekend, so this is just a normal 2-day one for me!
