I lost 3.2 pounds while out of town for work this week! Aaaaand, our new windows were installed yesterday
This weekend should be relaxing. I'm donating blood tomorrow morning. We are having family over to see our new house and have a bbq on Monday.
Oh, and I'm determined to finish Hopeless today. OMG I can't belive how good it is, I only started it yesterday and I'm 79% of the way through. I broke down and spent the $3.99 on amazon, sooooo worth it!!!
I got a job! I'm a grad student and a research assistant in my department, but since it's summer I don't work. I was just going to be a housewife for the summer because I figured this would be my only chance to do so and we could afford only my H working for the next few months. Well, I put in ONE application at a craft store that's opening up and they hired me.
I'm actually excited. As much as I loved having a little break (three weeks!) I was going crazy..it was so boring with H gone all day working, I just sat around the house, cleaned, and read.
No plans for memorial day. We don't have any family in Pittsburgh. we will probably just grill out.
My cousin got engaged last weekend and asked me to be a bridesmaid! She's planning a late October or early December wedding for later this year. That will make 2 weddings I'm in this fall. I'm maid of honor in my sister's wedding mid-November. It'll be hard with a little baby (for both of the weddings) but my sis and cuz are 2 of the people I'm closest to, and I couldn't imagine not sharing their special days with them.
We are going to go to my parents house for a small get together on Memorial Day.
sucky week. I was/am sick for most of it. I'm only at work today, because I didn't want to go to the doctor and get a note (need a note after 3 days in a row).
LOVE this book! Just got my CW to read it. I told him to text me when he gets to "THE PART" he'd know when he got there. I got a text last night.

Even more YAYAYAYAYAY for Hopeless!!!!! I loved it. I could. not. stop. reading. hahahaha. I loved it, so much!
I found out that we don't have to move for H's new job! They offered him a position closer to home so that we don't have to move (far, anyways...we will probably move about 20 miles). It was also my last week at work, we're officially on summer break and I'm not going back to my position next year.
Today is H's birthday, so we're about to head out for his birthday lunch since he has to work tonight. I've managed to plan him a surprise party for when he gets off work tonight and kept it secret!! Tomorrow afternoon I'm going with my CW to see her SIL in Steel Magnolias. No plans for Sunday or Monday!
Nothing exciting happened for me this week! I am slowly getting more and more uncomfortable=(
Today our central air is finally getting hooked up, we had it installed a couple weeks back.
This weekend nothing worth writing about, no plans for memorial day except our maternity photos are being done that morning. I'm fine with sitting on the couch all weekend and resting.
Nothing super exciting happened this week. It was a good week, just uneventful.
We don't really have plans this weekend. We have a lot of we might do this or that type plans. I'd like to pick out paint for the outside of our house. Maybe go buy some flowers/bushes to landscape our yard a little better. I'm so terrible at picking out plants. I don't really have an eye or knowledge for it. I kill everything!
Any suggestions for good perennials on the East side of a house?
This week was pretty chill. Just worked out a good amount and hung out at the house in the evenings. Last night, H had happy hour with a friend, so I got to stay home and relax and watch my "trash tv" (Real Housewives of OC).
Tonight, we are hitting the gym and cleaning up our house. Tomorrow, we will hit the gym, go get ingredients to make bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeno bites. We are taking those to a dinner party with some friends on Saturday night. Sunday, we are going to do some house work (install flooring in my closet and hopefully get the trim in our kitchen done). Monday, we don't have any plans yet. We'll probably go the gym and relax the majority of the day.
Wait for me!! I'm two books away from this one!

Exciting this week- My grandma had a fall in April. She's been in a nursing home for rehab for about 5 weeks and today she came home!!!
This weekend we have nothing big planned. H's parents are visiting on Sunday and Monday since it will be nice, we're going to go to NYC to wander and have a late lunch/early dinner. I am so happy it's getting nice out!!
