we are thinking about taking a small vacation next summer and have no idea of where or what to do! Any suggestions of places to go that could be relative inexpensive and fun with a 18 month old? Thanks ladies!
Re: vacation ideas!
I don't know if this is 18 month old friendly, but Niagara Falls is always an option for an affordable vacation spot.
Do you camp? Maybe go to an amusement park and spend a day or two camping. I don't camp so I don't know if that is 18 month old appropriate.
Camping at state parks is super cheap. If you're a PA resident its like $13 a night.
Also, you could check out a cabin at Raystown Lake. I haven't been there in years, but I do remember there was a beach/picnic area there. There are a million campsites around the whole lake so you can pretty much have your pick.
There is a company that has campsites all over called Jellystone park. I remember going there when I was a kid. They had people dressed up like Yogi Bear and activities for kids. I think there's one near Quarryville actually.
