Received my official offer today. It's a bit less than what I asked for, which was expected, but it's way more than I imagined they would come back with! Just slightly higher than what I made in 2011, the highest income I've had at this job (or any job, for that matter). My boss must have really pushed for me.

So I start Tuesday and in even better news, there is no waiting period on benefits, it will all be effective as of June 1.

 

NO MORE WEEKENDS! I'LL BE HOME BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON CHRISTMAS EVE! MOTHER'S DAY WILL EXIST AGAIN!

And most importantly.......hello again, Sunday brunch!
