Anyone have to work?
I do. I'm working 11-7 instead of my usual 12-8. We're having a party with the residents from the other house, so I have to go in early to help get everything ready. I'm not excited. I don't think I can handle both houses together. blagh.
Lat night we had a fire, and it was soooo nice. I love sitting out by a fire. I ate way too much food, though.
What are you all doing to celebrate?

Re: Happy Memorial Day!
hi! My clinic is closed today so I was off. Yippee! We went to the zoo and I got to meet a KIWI!!! I have been obsessed with those little creatures since I was young so it was pretty awesome (And E this is a bird you shouldn't be scared of- in New Zealand they call them honorary mammals because they act much more like mammals than birds- their wings are maybe the size of your pinky)
Then H and I got major headaches so we have been chilling the rest of the day. Sorry you have to work today!
Sorry Aggie, I google imaged a picture of a kiwi and it's still a no go. They creep me out. But I'm glad you got to meet one
I hope you're feeling better!
J - sorry you had to work today. Did you at least get overtime?
We had a nice weekend. Saturday was a low key day. DH did a ton of work outside and ummmm, I didn't. I ran and that was about all I did.
Sunday we drove to ILs and they had a BBQ. I got to hang out with my niece which is always fun. As soon as she came into the house she ran over to me and yelled "Uh Iz" (Aunt Liz) Then she gave "UhUh Ta" (Uncle Todd) a big hug too. Yeah so my heart melted.
We drove home today and just relaxed. It's been pouring rain all day so that put a damper on any plans we may have had.
