High- I finally found out my login info for The Nest! While I was away somehow my comp logged me out of all my accounts so I had to try and figure everything out all over again.
We got a gas grill! I've been trying to convince H for a while and he finally caved. We also had a weekend of doing nothing which was wonderful! It was so nice to relax.
Lows: No lows really, it was a pretty good weekend. Not looking forward to the heat wave though.
Lows, I had a baby shower to go to in the middle of the day Sunday. We had spent the night at my moms in Oxford the night before. I wanted to stay and go shopping at the outlets with my mom and sister but I promised my other friend I would go with her since we didn't really know anyone else except the mom to be. I rush getting every one ready and out the door to meet my friend so we could get there on time. After an hour and a half of sitting at the shower twiddling our thumbs the mom to be still wasn't at the shower. It wasn't a surprise shower either. She was just flat out late which doesn't surprise me because she's late to everything. My friend and I decided to leave, and now the mom to be is mad that we left early and didn't stay. She said she got there right after we went home. Oh well. That was my only damper since our Sunday was basically shot because of that.
Highs - had a great time at our annual summer kickoff party at my mom's place on the Chesapeake. Weather was a lil cooler than normal, but at least it didn't rain and it was nice to be around friends.
We also put a lot deposit down where we want to build our new house...now we just need to sell ours!
Lows - nothing really. It was a pretty good weekend overall.
Glad this is a short week though!
Highs: We had a pretty low key weekend and dh was home all weekend.
Lows: I hate packing. I'm excited to move but I could really do without all this packing.
Weekend highs - pretty chill weekend. Had a BBQ for my mom's bday. What started as us and my sister's family, ended up being like 25 people.
Weekend lows - H is making a habit of being really grumpy come weekend. I don't think he's sleeping enough during the week...
Highs: Saw some friends on Sunday- it was nice. Also, H finally finished a bunch of the little plumbing projects so yesterday I was able to get my house back in order. L played really nicely by herself this weekend which is a huge change from her being attached to me at all times. "I want Daddy" was her phrase of the weekend and it was wonderful.
Lows: My pregnant body cannot do everything my normal body can. By last night I wasn't sure if I'd be able to walk today!
high: lots of family and friends time! love that
lows: the weather kind of killed my pool party and we didn't get the turn out we were expecting, but it was still fun. we did have a second wind of friends stop by just as we were packing up so I didn't get home until after 9:00!

Highs - a lot of family time and we got to see my dad's cousin who we almost never see
Lows - the weather was crap and I was exhausted. Plus H got laid off on Thursday so booooo. I know it's part of the job and we plan for it but it still sucks when it happens.
