Bahamas or St John??
my hubby has rewards points in either place--Nassau Bahamas or Cruz Bay area St. John. now we get to pick. Which one??? We have not been to either place. We've been to places like Cayman, Aruba & Cabo. So, we're trying to decide. Any thoughts? Pros/Cons??

Are you a certified open water SCUBA diver? If so, I recently took a trip to the Bahamas and did a liveaboard through Blackbeard's Cruises. BEST. DIVE. TRIP. EVER!
Seriously, so much fun, beautiful diving, beautiful weather, the food was the best (home cooked meals 3x per day) and the crew was awesome!
We traveled around the Exuma Cays. You fly into/out of Nassau. We went ahead and booked a hotel the first night before we went on the boat and got to experience some of the culture.
It was an awesome trip. I will definitely do it again.
I have not been to Nassau but I have been to the USVI and BVI. It was great there. Highly recommend it. And get out on a boat while you are there. The islands are close together. We did a charter boat of the BVIs for 6 nights but there are some day trips but they may be a little crowded. Take your passport so you can go to the BVIs on a day boat trip.
