Re: Thankful Thursday

  • Today I am thankful....

For iced coffee. I am dragging today and I have no idea why.

That we slept all the way through the night last night! I love waking up and realizing it is actually time to wake up!

That our new kitty gets along well with the dog and kiddo. It was definitely a risk but I had a strong feeling he would fit well in our family. He is doing great with the dog but still mostly hides from LO. If you are holding him he will let her pet him though and she squeels whenever she sees him!

  • I am thankful for:

    1. Coffee - I honestly do not know how I would get through some days without it.

    2. My DH - I found out today that I probably will not have a job at the end of the school year for next year.  My district is laying off 64 people.  He has been so caring and is allowing me to stay home with L if a lay-off happens.

    3. The way L wakes up in the morning - he does not scream.  He usually giggle and talks to himself.  It is such a wonderful sound when just waking up in the morning.

  • Nicklet- #3 is the best way to wake up ever! DD is really hit and miss and most mornings she screams but the mornings I wake up to hear her playing and laughing and babbling just make my day!

    It is the best!  :)

I see that you are relying on coffee this morning as well.  I seriously was dragging this morning and could not function until I had my first cup of coffee.

  • I am thankful for:

    1. DH - He was ready for a baby when we started TTC, but he wasn't exited about it like I was, that's just his personality. He is very private about his emotions and more level with them than I am, So now seeing him get involved with setting up her nursery and picking out things for her, I have started to see some excitement and its been great. One morning I even woke up to him trying to feel her kick. :)

    2. Our baby girl, Adalyn -  I love her kicks and watching her grow. I can't wait until she's here. I keep wondering if she'll look like me or her daddy. :)

    3. Hot Chocolate - It's the best way to start the morning. :)

  • I am thankful for:

-the growing baby in my belly that is so strong. Getting more betas done today. Can't wait to hear more good news :)

-my husband for being so amazing. He asks me every morning how I'm feeling and if there is anything he can do for me. He also had been telling me all the things he can't wait to do with our child. It makes mr feel warm and fuzzy inside.

-animal crackers. It truly is the only thing that is keeping me from vomiting all over the floor.

-my family and friends. I grew up with a strong sense of family and I can't wait to tell them the good news. We decided that we are announcing on the Fourth of July. :)

500 Love Its 1000 Comments Third Anniversary Name Dropper

    1. Thankful my MIL has slowed her roll. We were going to start having issues. I never thought I would be one to turn down 'help', but it was getting insane. Now I need to work on my Mom.

    2. My sweet babies, they're growing and more alert... They're thisclose to being out of preemie clothes!!

    3. Showers. I love taking a shower.

    4. Coffee. I make it iced now, I almost live on it.

    5. Dropping 30 lbs so fast. It has made me feel really good about my post twin baby body. I earned about four small stretch marks, they don't bother me one bit.

    6. Nursing tops. LISTEN UP!! Gals, if you plan on nursing buy maternity tops that allow for nursing after. I have to run out and buy shirts at (30$ a pop!!) in order to nurse where I need to nurse. Pulling up your shirt is not the business. I hate that I didn't buy tops that would work for both. Remember, your maternity clothes work for the way down as well. I am still rocking my maternity jeans.

    7.  Online bill pay. Seems like I forgot to pay everything in the last month. Oops. Glad I can get it all out fast with our bill pay.

    8. The 100$ Target GC that DH's Grandmother's best friend sent us. Woo hoo, I love Target!!  I'll save it for now, but it's going to be nice in a few months.

I miss you gals. So glad to see all the new BFP's (walktheline) I almost cried. and the new babies!! Congrats.

UN-Thankful for:  Scented pads. don't do this to yourself. ouch.
