L had his 6 month (can you believe he is 6 months already??) appointment yesterday. I mentioned to the doctor that every single time L has green beans, he breaks out all over his body. He likes the green beans and didn't gag on them or anything like that, but he would get a rash/breakout about 30 minutes later.
The doctor said green beans contain soy and L could be starting with a soy allergy or could not be ready for them yet. For now, we are just monitoring the foods he eats and will try green beans in the future.

This is good to know. Thank you!
I try to stay away from soy because of my thyroid issue, but I didn't even know there was soy in green beans. I'm hoping it is just a slight allergy as well (I think it probably will be).
