Rants:
I should have been giving my notice today, but while my boss-to-be was getting approval for the offer, the CFO decided he wanted to meet me before signing off. This makes 5 meetings/visits. So that should happen Monday, and hopefully I'll have better news at that point
Raves:
It's Friday. Finally.
H told me yesterday that he got a call from his dad, and they told him they will be visiting for one day next week. Strange, since they live in NC... Only one day? They asked us which day was best, because they have a surprise (and they promised it's a good surprise). So now we're trying to figure out what the surprise could possibly be. H is hoping they are showing up with a suitcase full of cash, but I think it's much more likely that his mom is pregnant and wants us t raise the baby. I mean, it could go either way, right?
Weekend Plans:
Not a whole lot. We have a wine and food festival on Sunday, but that's really our only planned activity. We'll be trying to stay cool, I'm sure. I'm thankful that H brought the air conditioners up from the garage about a week ago so we could easily get them going during this little heatwave we're having.
After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,

What are your plans for weekend? DH and I are doing a late anniversary celebration Sunday. I might try to book us a massage. Saturday DH will be taking his CFA exam and I plan on trying to get a lot done around the house while hes gone, or go down to the in laws pool if its nice out!
Rants? Went went to PF Changs last night and I noticed the waiter threw away the spring rolls we didn't eat!! That was supposed to be my lunch today along with leftover lettuce wraps. Now I want to cry.
Raves? So glad DHs exam is this weekend and I am finally getting my husband back after months of studying! I see a long honey do list in his future!
Weekend Plans: Going to the in-laws tonight to borrow a few things we need and then going to buy some more things so we can start planting flowers tomorrow
I have to get to the DMV bright and early tomorrow to put my car in my name (it's been under my dad's name)... not looking forward to that, but hoping it'll go quickly if I get there right when it opens. Then my parents and brother are coming up to help us plant. We'll also be painting our shutters. Then we're taking my brother out to eat for a belated b-day celebration.
Sunday- I don't know yet... probably putting away the last few things that are still in boxes.
Rants: I'm kinda burnt out from the move, and I somehow hurt my neck/shoulder muscle and it's been sore all week.
Raves: I can't wait to plant flowers and paint our shutters. Our house will look 1000x better once that is done
Rants: my coworker was nice enough to do a coffee run, but forgetful enough to not grab a straw for my iced coffee. It's now sitting uncovered on my desk. I'm taking bets on how long it will last before I knock it over. (That's all I have for rants today, it's been a pretty uneventful week!)
Raves: I'm getting out of work at 3:30 today! It's because I was here at 7:30, but it wasn't so bad. Probably because it was actually light out at 6am when I got up!
WP: not much. I have an appointment for an oil change tomorrow and that's the extent of my plans. It's supposed to be warm this weekend so we'll probably do a lot of grilling. Other than that, I'm just going to chill with the pup in the AC.
Rants- I am so cranky today. Maybe it's because it is gorgeous outside and I am stuck at work. I have been here long enough that I am pretty sure I deserve a window. Hey, a girl can dream.
Raves- It's Friday! And H managed to get tomorrow off so he is now off all weekend. I am super excited!
Weekend plans- We discuss possibly driving down to Amish Country tomorrow but it is all up in the air right now. All that matters is that I get to spend it with H!
Rants: I'm tired of the insurance company. 3 weeks later and we still have no information on MIL's house. We would just like to know something so we can decide what to do.
Raves: It's pay day!
Weekend Plans: Dinner with my parents tonight. Nothing really planned for the rest of the weekend. I need to go buy some new clothes and shoes for the big belly for summer but that's about it.
