More plumbing!!

I came home yesterday and H had our shower in pieces- it's one of those ugly builder-grade metal and glass showers. I'd LOVE to replace it, but a bathroom update is not in the budget right now. Anyway, he took that apart, recaulked the whole thing, and put it back together.

He then went and got a dehumidifier for the basement, which seems to be helping with the funky smell- however, in the process he put the hose out the dog door, allowing the cat to escape last night. I let him crawl under the deck at 11 last night to look for the cat.

I am SO ready for our house to stop with these water issues. Ugh.

We have a builder grade shower like that and I hate is as well...I did actually throw the doors away and remove all the metal tracks and put a tension bar and shower curtain in and it's much better.

Mine is just a shower in the corner, no tub so if I took it down it would pretty much be just a drain in the floor :/

Oh gotcha, mine is just a shower in the corner, no tub too, but the lip is enough that a shower curtain works.

HHmm....I really think mine would turn into a wet mess. I think it's fixed for now....

  • Hope everything gets fixed soon!!  Having construction in your house is a PITA!
