Anything exciting happen this weekend? Anything exciting for the weekend?

Re: Happy Friday!!
DH and I have been looking for a house since the beginning of the year. We had been considering building a Ryan Home for a while, especially recently since we weren't finding many already built houses that fit our needs. Last night we signed the paperwork for building! The house won't be ready to close on until the beginning of November, though.
Tonight DH and I are going to the Pirates game. Tomorrow we are going to a Relay for Life event. We will be there early to help set up and staying until the afternoon. We will then be going back in the evening for the luminaria ceremony. Sunday afternoon I am going bridesmaid dress shopping with my cousin and some other people in her wedding.
I had a pretty good week. Keeping busy at work. Just got back last week from a conference and we jumped right into planning the September meeting, yikes!
H has been working double shifts all week picking up some overtime so I have had my evenings to myself and got a lot of reading done, which makes me very happy.
This weekend will be fun. We are going to the Vintage Virginina Wine Festival with a group of 8 or so others tomorrow. Nothing beats day drinking in the summer
We went to the Phillies game last night, early father's day gift for my dad. It was a really good time! My mom wasn't feeling well so she gave my sister her ticket. I wasn't too happy but whatever. My sister actually came to my house, we've only been here for 2 years! I guess she caved for a free ticket...
Nothing this weekend, doctor apt today for my follow up. Oh and dinner a movie with my cousin, Hungover 3.
This week has been pretty good, mostly just hanging around the house. Yesterday H, SIL, and I went to Six Flags over Georgia which was a good time!
On our way home, we got a call saying that their grandfather isn't doing well. :-/ We're going to SC tomorrow, possibly even later today. It will be for a funeral. FIL said he doesn't think GFIL will make it through today. He was diagnosed with (colon?) cancer about 4 years ago and was told he only had 6 months to live, but here he is, 4 years later. So nothing fun this weekend.
Jen, I'm keeping your family in my prayers.
This week was uneventful. It wasn't a bad week, but wasn't fantastic either.
My nephew turns 1 on Sunday!!! Tomorrow my brother and SIL are having a giant bbq birthday party for him. On Sunday, my mom is having dinner and cake for him. I remember the day he was born so clearly. I can't believe a year has passed. I am laughing that it's literally the exactly same weather as last June 2nd. It was about 90 degrees and humid the day he was born and that's the projection for the next few days.
DH and I are going to a family friend's baby shower at DH's mom's house. It smells like cat pee, has no AC, no room big enough for a baby shower, and it is supposed to be 93 outside. UGH! think i can ooh and aww from the pool?
although, in general i think showers (baby, wedding etc.) are fun...i feel like this should be on an UO post though haha.
Not much happened this week, other than dropping 5 pounds in a matter of days! Sometimes getting sick has it's advantages.
I have a goat show this weekend. If we get back in time there is a bonfire we'll go to tomorrow night. With June starting we officially don't have a free weekend until mid September! Every summer is like this for us.
Nothing at all!
Nothing at all!
I was sick all week, so nothing too fun happened. I did manage to relocate dozens of iris bulbs in my gardens, so that was good.
Today we are going to see Gatsby, tomorrow I'm shooting a wedding and on Sunday I'm hoping to start work on our veggie garden. We have 9 cubic yards of soil just sitting in our driveway!
